It is not a do or die affair... price has 70-80% chances of respecting my arrow projections because they are not just arrows, but projections made after carefully analysing the market.... And its worthy of a note that we still dont follow the arrows(projection) blindly.... we allow price to react at each point before we decide on what to do.....

This Gold Call Update: Today, I was at war with gold; I woke up to see it almost hit my SL, na so I longed again with double lot, went further against me, I tripped my lot until I saw a pull back where I got regained some of the losses.

I entered a revenge still on H1, went against me, entered the opposite, went against me.....then i put my phone under the pillow, said I'm done for today. After abt 1hr, I checked again with rest of mind, longed again still on H1 - my previous position, na so I see that long bullish candle in H1, took about 113.0 pips - yes, this is the push I ve been expecting, thus I gained back the losses, closed it and relaxed.

Gold almost messed me up psychology today, this is not me, mba, I don't trade this way. This is my personal account, not props, av gat to relax and continue at market close today.

Lesson: Avoid revenge trading.

fx is sweet and real. But to be able to benefit from the goodness, you must be willing and ready to learn and be highly patient and discipline.
If there is any thing I observed, it is that most of us do not take our time to understand principles of a subject before going into it, we are too lazy to read instructions as well. And we are far from been patient to be able to reap from this market. And when we get undesirable outcomes, we fail to accept responsibility. We either blame the market or news for our miseries. Meanwhile Mr Market do not care. I wish us all success. lets continue to stick around to learn from each other. I am FTA for life.

There is a reason why there are different trading styles: Scalpers, day traders, swingers, and position traders. These different TFs define your trading style, you just have to discover which TF works for you and stick to it.
Note: each trading styles have their bad times (days or weeks), when you jump from one TF to another, it means you are jumping from one trading style to another, you may be at high risk because you may join the day traders at their bad time and then you switch to swingers but again during their bad times.

The goal should be, I want to remain with my style, come rain or come shine, I'm there during the bad times and there during the good times; my 2nd goal will now be filtering out the bad times so I don't get too much of it.

From my experience, if you jump from one TF to another even though they seem like perfect entry, it wanders the trading mind.

Above all, do what works for you, as long as profits are made.
