Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam, has dissolved the state executive council, following on executive council meeting presided over by his excellency which took place at the council chamber of the Government House, Damaturu
A statement which was made available to newsmen in Damaturu shortly after the executive council meeting signed by Director of Press to his the governor Alhaji Abdullahi Bego said that, appreciated all commissioners and special advisers who worked with him and wished them success in their future endeavour's
The governor approved the re-appointment of Eng Goni Baba Machina as the new secretary to the state government with immediate effect
According the statement, all the commissioners and special advisers are to hand-over the affairs of their respected ministeries to the permanent secretaries
Those affected are commissioners of finance, education, agricultura, land and survy, water, health, housing, works, intergrater, justice, and budget.
Others include the commissioners of enviroment, commerce, information, women affairs, religious, youths and support, sports and others.
However, the statement continues that, all special advisers have been dissolved by the who approved the dissolution after the state executive meeting.
