https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100070793441250&mibextid=ZbWKwL I'm in the USA and I can share my experience on k1 that would be useful to all applicants. |
Here is my timeline : USCIS approved September 2020, NVC: September 2020 Since at NVC 2020 - 2022 Case moved to embassy (Nigeria): March 2022 Interviewed : 2nd June,2022 Question: when did you get to know ? How did you get to know? Are your children going? Does she have children? Have you been married before?divorce decree?for me and her? When do you intend to get married ? Interview: approved. Good thing is that we nominated that our case file be shared with US consulate ,so they had our file from USCIS and all our pictures on their desk already today ... So the pictures I went with wasn't asked for but they rather returned the ones we sent to USCIS. Thank God ... I'm off to Florida to meet my Fiance. Wish you all goodluck as you await. NB: TAKE YOUR FINGER PRINT AND POLICE CHARACTER CERTIFICATE WITH YOU COS THEY NEED THE FINGER PRINT DOC ALSO. |

In addendum, when transferring case you need to have a resident status in that particular country where you intend your case for transfer NOT visitor's visa.

|
As seen in the image , I'm pondering on what next to do or expect . I have emailed the consulate but yet to get a respond.

Any 2020 K-1 visa filer/beneficiary here? What becomes of your status when it changed to READY? How long did it take the consulate to communicate you? I'm asking this because I'm not resident in Nigeria but my interview is for Lagos . The major reason for asking is to help me calculate my travel plans to Nigeria knowing that I still have to do medicals etc. |
