my gotv only shows some startimes channels and then block it. it has never detects any gotv channels at all since i bought it.

This is not the fist time the US government will steal peoples money when their economics is in mess.
I think if the owner is found guilty of any crime they should have arrest and prosecute him only and then rectify the problem. Not shooting the system down.

As at now, nobody can unlock Haier wm200 modem. I have done a lot of research and i find out that the modem was specially made for etisalat. The unlock code that was sent to you was generated with HUAWEI unlocker.
For more confirmation. Go to the manufacturer website at:

and download the user manual at the bottom of the page. You will see etisalat logo at page 5 in the user manual you downloaded from the manufacturer company which means that this moden was specially made for etisalat.
Haier wm200 can be use only in Africa and etisalat is the only company using it in Africa.
Most online store who claim to have the unlocker are lying. I have tried to buy it from them but what i got is rubbish and my money is non refundable.
Just let pray that God should raise someone for us to help us develop software that will unlock it.
I have the modem too and i'm tired of using it.

Please, kindly tell me how to use the code to unlock the modem.
I inserted another sim into the modem but i got the message that "inserted sim not supported" and there is not place for me to insert the unlock code.
