Thanks man. I hear my family speaking Yoruba and I have always wanted to pick up on it so I could teach my kids some of their roots that they wouldn't really see otherwise as I am only mixed race with a white partner. I am Nigerian and English, so my kids are quarter-caste (me being half-caste, mulatto, mixed race, what ever label you would like to put on it) and my girlfriend being white. Those phrases are pretty easy to master I think, got any more? |
How do you say all this in Yoruba: Hello How are you? I love you Goodnight Thank you What are you doing? Nigerian roots Rest in peace Only God can judge me Merry Christmas Happy New Year |
