Politics › Re: You Are A Stupid Boy — Otedola Recounts His Encounter With Obasanjo In New Book by Gboom: 10:36am On Aug 08, 2025
happney65:
"He described Obasanjo as a “determined and robust president” who, once convinced of a person’s integrity, stood firm in his support."

And that is why Obasanjo had the best government since the return of Democracy in 1999. Obasanjo isnt bothered about where you are from or WHO you are. He doesnt do tribal and Religious sentiments like these ones currently in power. He will give you the job as long as he knows you can deliver

Unlike the current yeye ones wè got right now

Tueh
But you guys did not support him when he needed your votes, and you are the one crying most that he marginalized you. You want to reap where you did not sow

Business › Re: Shoprite Plans To Exit Ghana And Malawi by Gboom: 9:02am On Aug 06, 2025
No place in Africa is like Nigeria in terms of rate of turnover and return on investment especially Lagos.
I remember Shoprite opened this first outlet in The Palms in Lekki and they were successful in the first 3 years, and they moved to Ghana thinking that the grass is greener, but they were wrong as they could make 10% of their turnover there after they started opening other outlets all over Nigeria

Seeing StillWater, Diamond, Grace Estate and Prime water view makes me laugh. These estates where LASG has generated so much revenues, are they going to be demolished by Wahab Tokunbo, Mr. Bulldozer? Politics has limit. Many of these Estates were pre Fashola. These are places APC lost last elections woefully. I didn't see Parkview, Amen and Soluyi, so that it can be complete. grin grin grin grin grin
It is just to serubawon, the number of estates is too many for a hammer to just fall on them

It's not only by prayer that Made Ajibade who she's today, real hard work and dedication. Prayer without efforts is useless
I don't know you are a religious bigot like this. What is your business with her paying tithe to the man of God? Do you know that your president, governors that you can defend with life are connected to this man of God? In your deluded mind every pastor is hungry and guy man
I will advise you to stay in your lane and let hatred for Christianity to derail you
Politics › Re: Peter Obi To Tinubu: Stop This humongous borrowings without accountability by Gboom: 9:30am On Jul 29, 2025
Obi is always playing to the gallery, and he is too naive to know how the government runs. He is fond of saying things he does not the real fact on. He governed Anambra for 8 years without significant projects he can boast of, hence he uses Asian countries as references whenever he is talking about governance

Bitter people are still castigating our generous president as if it is easy to be chosen among numerous players to represent Nigeria.
Why not rejoice with the girls that brought glory unlike your brothers that are tarnishing the image of Nigeria in Asian countries

It seems you are wired to bad news that is why you always sad at any good development by Lagos state govt

Performing ? Do u live in Lagos? Are u for real?
Even if I don't live in Lagos, the rulers always beat the drum of their achievements which is very rare where you come from and where you mentor comes from. Also, if you think Lagos is not working for you go back to your village where things work

It's not other people. This is one country. It's not a divided nation as people like u want it to be. U are not more Lagosian than myself. If today is better it doesn't mean there is no more room for improvement
If you believe in oneness, you will call others out and not condemning the ones that are performing because you hate them

Most of you are economically dull and are ready to castigate Nigeria because of half-truth. Have you thought in your heart why a Beninoise or Cameroonian will prefer to come and live in Nigeria because the country is better than their own?

So Cameroon is richer than Nigeria, Terrible, very terrible.
They are busy online defending it, and if someone else say something about it abroad they will gether left and right and center and start writing columns both on print and on social media, tagging the person unpatriotic when they should take that as a motivation. There's absolutely nothing unpatriotic about a fact about one's nation. Imagine Liberia and Benin richer than Nigeria, we're not even up to $1k per Capita
Stop displaying ignorance and hatred!
Gross domestic product per capital is arrived at by dividing our total local output by the total population
Ask yourself, if Benin and Cameroun are richer than Nigeria why is our economy bigger than their own
Politics › Re: Constitution Review: North Shifting From Status Quo, To True Federalism by Gboom: 10:19pm On Jul 18, 2025
SmartPolician:
Oga, rest! NASS reviewed and amended the constitution under every president that came in. It didn't start with Tinubu and won't end with him. The problem is that they always leave the key issues untouched.

If Tinubu can actually influence the outcome of this constitution amendment, we want to have state police and resource controlled by states before the next general election. After all, Tinubu has always called for true federalism.
It's either you are ignorant of what true federalism is or you are just playing your usual opposition role in hating or criticize whatever policy this present govt is planning to adopt or adopting

That was one of Buhari's best legacies

When E-Bola came on board, he shouted, Subsidy is gone.

Yet, he had no idea how to manage the aftermath of subsidy removal.
I'm very sure if we dig deep your comments here you are one of those who called Buhari failure severe times.

Omo dada ni e o, ma pelu obo j'awura
When in danger or in a wow state, Jesus' name or other names of what you don't really believe can come out of your mouth. I have witnessed a danger moment on third mainland bridge in one night in 2007 where the tire of the bus I entered busted on a speed and everybody were shouting Jesus, Jesus including a Muslim cleric with teshubah in his hands. When the dust was settled, they ask the alfa why he joined others to shout Jesus, he said he noticed when they were shouting the name the bus was getting balanced that was why he joined them and everybody laughed.
Late ex-president Buhari must have had so many personal encounters with Christian preachers through journals or videos
