Friends, if you were to be given all the resources of the earth and also given the challenge of converting the world largest desert( the sahara) to a flourishing ,fertile and luxuriant grassland. what would you do or how would you proceed?

I bet we can start brain storming but one of the earliest suggestions that will come to mind is to introduce water and introduction of water will definitely be one of the option that must be used.

Water will be introduced via irrigation or artificial rainfall as applicable and available.It is sure that without the use of water,the project of converting the sahara desert to the sahara grassland will end up in abysmal failure.

Whenever we want to make a dry field productive, the first step is to water the field so that the productive ability of the land will be realized through that process. Without water the land will be dry and useless.

When we begin to water the sahara desert, the water begins to bring life into the dusty, dry land and sooner or later green life and small plants will begin to sprout and hence the sign of life becomes visible.Then the land will begin to enjoy gradual cultivation bringing bountiful harvest to the investor or cultivator.

The land is our hearth and life.
The water is the word of God .

Without theword of God ,our life will be like sahara desert.dusty,barren,sandy and almost of no agricultural or productive value.
But with the introduction of water which is the word of God ,our dry land will begin to assume a new form of productive prosperous life.
God said in his words (Isiah 55:10-11)

"for as the rain comes down, and snow from heaven,and do not return there,but it waters the earth,and make it bring forth bud,that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
So shall be my word that goeth forth from my mouth;it shall not return to me void but shall accomplish the purpose which i please and it shall prosper in the purpose for which i sent it."

When we allow the word of God to enter and stay in our lives,it is just a matter of time before the results will become apparent.
How would you explain a former Armed Robber now born again, who God now uses to raise the dead and heal the sick or a blind man that could now see. The life of God has definitely entered them. This life of God entered them through his words and the miracles and manifestations are the yields.

When Joshua assumed the leadership of Israel after the death of Moses. God instructed him on what will be the secret of his leadership.
God said in Joshua1:verse 8,
“This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate upon it day and night,that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous,and then shall though have good success"

God educated Joshua to water his heart so much with the word of God that the result will be prosperity and increase in his endeavours.
Folks,if you will put the word of God in your mouth,heart and allow it to saturate your being so much that it will be your only reality in the face of circumstances of life.Then the word of God will make you a god over the situations of life and you will become very fruitful in your doings.

This secret is clearly shown to us again in Psalm 1 verse 1 to 3
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,nor stands in the path of the sinner,nor sit in the sit of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,And in his law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper"

The way you want to prosper a dry barren field by irrigating it with water; in the same manner your life will begin to flourish and be fruitful as begin to give life to it via the word of God.
You must 1)know the word of God
(2)believe the word of God
(3)Confess the Word of God
(4)Act on the word of God in line with your faith and confession.

All the steps above must be habitually done. It should be lifestyle.Done Day and Night.
Then in the course of time, you will begin to see a gradually progressive life.It is called the triumph of faith. Praise God it is only faith that please God.His words work all the time.

Hello Nairalanders.I need some good cousel from you guys.

I married my school mate.

As the years roll by my wife has become very rebellious,argumentative,heady,religious,incorrigible,turns every correction to quarell,does not want to make love anymore,does nothing for me .i have my own room now just to have peace and avoid joining issues,especially to think and pray

i do everything for myself like a bachelor.i wash my clothes,bedsheets,clean my room.if she cooks she does not even serve me .if i want food i go to the kitchen to serve my self. but most times i eat out.she goes to her own church does not follow me.she claims i am going to hell.

On many occassions i will be on lagos Ibadan expressway as late as 10 to 11:30 pm.i would not even get a call from her.when i get home i would need to bang the hell out of the gate before they will wake up and let me in.i kept asking myself, ’what about if i died those nights’

Since i married her ,i have never cheated on her.i provide the basics to the best of my ability for now such as food ,accomodation,school fees and home maintenance.

I am a man who likes to achieve. i have resolved to marry my dreams and live my life on the path of emotional aloofness but i just do not know how to handle this sex issue.sex is a core need .

I have noticed that life is a lot more peaceful for me when i just go solo.i listen to my jazz music,watch my movies, read ,browse the internet all in my room. Though my kids always like to join me abandoning their's in the sitting room.
