dustmalik: They don't deploy the FibreX service to a location unless they know there is sufficient interest in the service. It's easier to get them to deploy it to an estate. They require commitment from at least 150 users in an estate. If you can get that number of interested people, visit one of their head offices and request to have an audience with the broadband department. i can confidently tell you there is alot of demand here fr, estate's near here ..there is high demand. Can you give more context when you say " visit one of their head offices and request to have an audience with the broadband department". Do you know anyone that have done that? How does that work even |

nani667: True... nothing Unlimited about their plans
The broadband plans are quite rapid tho... 🫱🏻🫲🏼
I just ported to their FibreX plans last week, since they just installed their Fibre in my area. Now the Fibre is truly Unlimited 🫱🏻🫲🏼🫱🏻🫲🏼
The device and installation was free of charge.
I decided to start with the 50Mbps to see how it goes. And so far it has been solid. Even when MTN data network is down on my phone SIM and even on the broadband, the FibreX still maintains the speed 🫱🏻🫲🏼 Ping is also very solid, so gaming is elite with the FibreX ✨️✨️
May upgrade to one of the faster Fibre plans if necessary next month lucky you lol been requesting for them to come to my area for months..im in the goddamn city but they aint even here... im tired of this shitty airtel, they say its unlimited but i believe they cap speeds during the day time. paying 30k for 20mbps but i can barely get 1

yok: THOSE WHO ARE STEALING/BUYING STOLEN PHONES ARE SITTING ON TIME BOMB With the advancing technology, any stolen phone can be traced once you know the the IMEI number. It may take some time, but if the owner of the phone decide to take up the case and sacrifice some small amount (report to the right official channel, not paying any individual which most cases is scam). So if you are in the phone stealing business one way or the other (sellers/buyers of stollen second hand phones are inclusive), your days of thinking you will not be caught are numbered.

emilymilly: Good morning Nairalanders,
Please, I come to seek your opinion and guidance.
I'm looking for a reliable fiber optic network that will best serve me in my location at College Road, Ogba Lagos.
I have checked Fiberone, Fibernet, Luli Fiber and a few others, but I need someone with a real life experience with them or another provider to shed more light on it, especially if you have used any of them around Ogba, because the speed is very important and it is kinda urgent.
Gracias. well as of rn, there's mtn fiber ..so you might aswell try that |
Technology Market › Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by geeetee: 11:21pm On Dec 16, 2024 |
nice' you should remove the dot at the end of the " https://yelomoon.com." link doesn't work with em in it. thekokofacts: If you’re not careful while shopping on Aliexpress, you might end up ordering items from vendors with no Nigeria credibility.
My advice always are:
1. Always buy from suppliers with good reviews, especially from fellow Nigerians. This helps you confirm the quality of the product and the reliability of the seller.
2. Also, double-check if the vendor ships to Nigeria to avoid delivery issues.
3. For an even easier shopping experience, visit https://yelomoon.com. It’s the best platform to discover top-reviewed items from various online stores, saving you time and stress.
Shop smarter and avoid disappointments! |

AllenSpencer: I am not denying the side efffects or negatives that come with it, you just have to accept that, in same space is the future. You want to put them in personal online classes- Khans academy, you want to put them into programming classes- Udemy. Many things they can get to through same medium.
Taking them out of the reality is like leaving them behind. The future is about information’s well said bruv. but i would assume when they say banning social media..it doesn't restrict specific things like that (the things that they can do to make themselves more productive). it just restricts them from certain brainrot apps like tiktok. which is in the better for them..as it has the potential to normalize them to lots of things the west might consider "normal" but truly isnt. |
Webmasters › Re: Got My First Gig On Upwork by geeetee: 6:09pm On Nov 29, 2024 |
downbad: I have been documenting my progress as a web developer on this forum.
Almost a year ago, I shared my very first web development project, a blog I built. I posted the link here in the Webmasters section, but some Nairalanders criticized the website for being ugly, suggesting I should quit.
The link to that blog now points to a different project of mine, but you can find the original post in my post history.
Now, nearly a year later, I’ve landed my first dollar paying gig. A client wanted me to build a web application for them. Honestly, I could have charged more given the scale of the project, but I thought that by offering a lower rate, I could get my foot in the door. I do regret it, though, because the work I did was complex enough to warrant at least $2,000.
Anyway, there’s always a second chance and I won't undersell my services again.
Who knows where I’ll be a year from now?
I won’t be posting my future contracts here for obvious reasons, but I wanted to celebrate this one as it’s my first.
I document my journey as a web developer here, but you can check out my personal blog if you’re interested in reading about my other professional experiences unrelated to web development: https://rxjourney.com.ng
Carpe diem, seize the day. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may. just went through all your posts on your site. is very nice seeing someone i can relate too..congrats brother |
