floflo12: Please guys I need help on what to do or what could be the problem. My installation was done on Saturday and the installer called me on Sunday morning that it was activated. So I was able to connect and use for 15mins, since then I have been trying to connect, but na wahala, it was connected but saying no internet. The lights were all green throughout. I called 217 severally they said, I should disconnect and restart, which I did but still no solution till now. Installer said he did his part already. Meanwhile I also called the 217 this morning to confirm if it was activated and they said yes. They escalated the issue to their tech support. Has anyone encountered this type of issue with mtn fibre x? Abeg o wetin I fit do like this. email them |

otokx: It appears as more people are subscribing to the MTN Fibre, the quality is reducing drastically. cant happen, the technology isn't like cellular networks where there is congestion. fibre is just internet going through wires inform of light. The quality can't really reduce. If it does its more of a naija issue not general fibre issue. Fibre is the primary way other countries get their internet, it's just now going mainstream in Nigeria. |

NSEstudent: If you are not having problem with it, you may continue using it.
One of my guys who used MTN with the new X17U eSim version had his ODU stop working even with active sub. I took it upon myself to call their CC several times, talked to the supervisors and they said it stopped working because of the alternate number and that the line is suspended.
I tried changing the alt number using the hbb link that was shared here, and just like people complained, we neither received OTP on the MTN nor on the email it was registered with. I told him to take to Airtel office. Perhaps that's what you should do. I haven't heard from him though. i was able to change mine really, i cant recall exactly what i did but it was basically what i summarized in my message |

Phones › Re: Airtel Unlimited Data Thread! Best Data Plan In 2024!! by geeetee: 4:23pm On Dec 12, 2025 |
NSEstudent: Airtel's is better. MTN capped theirs at 150GB and a paltry 2GB per day after that. Still 30k.
Airtel is 20mbs and unstated 1TB cap, after which speed reduces for some people (because some also say they use up to 4TB per month) the airtel 5g has caps also, and so far as i know i dont think there is any caps for mtn fibre x its really unlimited..but airtel 5g NOT ODU the normal 5g has caps after u use certain amount u will get throttled.. you have to call their customer support so they reset the limits. |

NSEstudent: ODU cannot be portable. Just find a suitable mifi that can be cracked to work with broadband sim cards and you are good to go.
Before getting ODU, I was on this thread writing about how I was waiting for the ones with physical sim; that was the reason. where do i find that |

Forrkke: Does anyone here play shooters on console or PC?
None of these games have a West African server. The ones who give a subtle fùck about Africa only have on in Johannesburg, SA.
How does one compete with latency averaging 90-150ms?
EA FC is the only console game I know with a sever in West Africa, and the sweet part? The server is right here in Lagos.
A big bummer cause I don't like that game; I only play eFootball, formerly known as PES. you can play fine @ 200ms |

morikee: I don join una ODU users so naso una dey enjoy omo i just dey stream 4K smoothly I wish I understood how it worked tbh, how is it that this odu works fine .. but their normal 5g slow as hell . I just took it that airtel themselves do not have the technology thats sufficient for a proper 5g experience. my only theories right now , is that either Airtel throttles users for reasons we don't know, or the ODU router is just on a whole different level. Services like Starlink or fiber users make sense to me because they provide clear explanations of how their service works Starlink uses satellites, and fiber networks rely on dedicated fiber cables, so consistent speeds are to be expected. Airtel, on the other hand, has too many inconsistencies. That’s why I assumed that they simply didn’t have the technology to deliver a proper 5G experience. however this odu router makes me rethink all this..only explanation is that maybe the router user has is what determines the speeds users get |

can confirm airtel unlimited does have an FUP ...tho it is not in anyway stated in their site. I've been stuck @ kbps download speeds for past 3 days but constant 20mbps upload speeds.. i downloaded 300gbs worth within a week so i believe that triggered it. its honestly sad to see these people scam ngns so openly and get away with it, the only mention of an FUP ive seen from airtel is via their twitter page here https://x.com/AirtelNigeria/status/1890156103243063359https://x.com/addoghe/status/1874566292763812145where they claim the FUP is the 20mbps speeds they give users, however this is simply false and invalid.

Nancy924: Hey everyone! Long time no game-related chat! 😅 Just curious—does anyone else remember AHA GAMES? Back in the day, my phone came with it pre-installed, so I messed around with it for a bit… but then life got busy, I stopped gaming much, and poof—uninstalled it.
Fast forward to recently: a friend mentioned it’s “totally different now,” so I gave it a shot and redownloaded it on Google Play. Guys… I’m shook! 🤯 It’s packed with TONS of free offline mini-games now—like, hours of no-Wi-Fi fun kind of packed. Think puzzle games, casual classics, and weirdly addictive time-wasters. 🧩✨
Soooo… what’s your AHA GAMES story? Still got it on your phone? Did you uninstall and never look back? Or are you like me, rediscovering it like a long-lost friend? 👀
Hit reply and let’s swap nostalgia (and maybe some guilty gaming habits) in the comments! 😂
(P.S. If you’re bored and offline, give it another try—you might be surprised!) no not a fan of bloatware. also, whatt AI wrote this? |
