Concerning this transit VISA issue, My flight is from Lagos to (Scotland)Glasgow with a stopover of 3 hours in Dubai, will I need a transit VISA? How do I know if I need one? Or is it a must I pass through Heathrow?

How do you guys intend to pay the £15.4k balance within 1year after the initial £3k deposit?
Man there are cheaper options out there.. why always chasing schools that offer low tuition deposit instead of overall low tuition fees.

Yes, you can use the same Proof of Funds (POF) for your UK Student visa application, provided it meets specific criteria.

✅ Key Requirements:
28-Day Rule: The funds must have been held in your account for at least 28 consecutive days.


31-Day Validity: The financial evidence (e.g., bank statement) must be dated within 31 days before the date you submit your visa application.


📌 Practical Example:
Scenario: You received your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) on May 1, 2025.


Action: You maintained the required funds in your account from April 1 to April 28, 2025.


Application Date: You plan to apply for your visa on May 15, 2025.

Outcome: Your POF is valid because:

The funds were held for 28 consecutive days.


The end date of the 28-day period (April 28) is within 31 days of your application date (May 15)

I think you can, the most important thing is that the bank statement shouldn’t be more than 31days old at the point of submission.

Thank you chief. But on my CAS shield portal, there's a section where they require I upload a bank statement to show I have the required funds. Its showing "upload bank statement". School is Cardiff Metropolitan University and I don't know if theirs is different.

Good choice,Scotland is way cheaper that other areas in terms of living expenses.and based on experiences with students i have handled so far,it’s a good choice..
