Social media influencers are not the ones making it hard. It's people who are submitting fake documents that make it hard.

Since the common reason people get their study permit denied is POF, a lot of people have now resort into submitting fake POF.

I watched a video where a lady paid an agent to generate fake POF for her and her study permit was denied.

Some of these applicants do not know that IRCC can contact their banks to verify.

The proof of funds is about $40,000 CAD, while your school fees are $21,000 CAD and the required living expenses are $22,895 CAD.

That's very tight might be good but, in my opinion, not enough. Ideally, you should have a little more than $40,000 CAD around $45,000 CAD at a minimum, or $50,000 CAD if possible.

Also, I would advise against choosing a one-year program unless you already plan to enroll in another one-year program after completing the first.

If you don't mind me asking, have you confirmed that your school and program are eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)?

I didn't do any CAC. I just submitted POF from all those sites I got money from. I explained (with proof) what I did to get the money.

When I applied, I used flywire to pay my acceptance deposit. I used CIBC to pa my tuition.
I could not wait for the school to issue me a receipt since it involves extra charges.

What I did;
I included the confirmation email from flywire and CIBC and used them instead.

I will advise you do up front medical because it the result takes within 10 business days to be sent to IRCC.

Where is that boy that said that IRCC does not accept bank statement of acct from remote gigs like PayPal and co, that it must be only commercial bank acct statements? Pls tell him that info is false. I submitted PayPal statement even submitted Opay bank statement and got my study permit approved.

Add a small amount of money to it and push it to GIC in Canada. Show evidence of the wire transfer to your GIC account.

If the money is truly for your studies as stated, I will suggest you do either of the following;

1. Pay full tuition fee
2. Pay tuition fee for the first semester and use the balance to open a GIC of at least CAD 10, 000 towards your living expenses

Then your in-law can write a letter of financial support starting that he is your sponsor (if you’re using only him), and to demonstrate his commitment, the funds were sent to you and they have been applied towards paying full/part of your tuition fess and/or living expenses.

I know that 22m will not be able to cover your tuition fee and living expenses for the first year. So who is going to provide the balance?

Gift deed and sales of property have been over used in explaining lump sums, I always avoid them as much as possible.

IRCC expects you upon arrival in Canada to have enough liquid money in hand (in the bank) in order to start your new live and sort out tuition deficits . Hence as a Nigerian you must prove beyond a doubt that you can convert the gift ” to real money since gift deed or notarization is already abused.

You must also prove to ircc that the gift has no condition attached or obligation to return it otherwise you will score zero in POF.

Your best way is to get the funds transferred to your bank account or sponsor's account and then attach the gift notarization . Also let the donor write an official SOP (with court affidavit) indicating who is he to you as well as his motive for the gift and how the money was remitted. Do not pay more than the $2k CAD deposit.

You should have sort for advice before your in-law start loading your account so that we could advise you on the best was to go.

Everything you just described are “red flags” and grounds for denials.

I have met two Nigerians who are undergoing the language program at the school. I have also met another Nigerian who studied at ISI, but he previously lived in Hong Kong.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't use any agent in my own case so I don't have an idea. Try to find out how you can contact the agents.

Agents from Japan will cost good money but they will make everything extremely easy for you.

You can search for Japanese language school agents on Google if it will bring back results.

I didn't go through language school, I came here for masters so the process will be different. I think it's better you ask your questions out in the open here so you can have answers from more experienced people.

Your passport is with the agent because it impossible you did biometric 9th of May and submitted passport to Canada visa centre on the 14th of May via your agent as you stated earlier .

Ask your agent for your passport it 1000% with the agent!!
