Sorry for the late reply, I didn't use any agent in my own case so I don't have an idea. Try to find out how you can contact the agents.

Agents from Japan will cost good money but they will make everything extremely easy for you.

You can search for Japanese language school agents on Google if it will bring back results.

I didn't go through language school, I came here for masters so the process will be different. I think it's better you ask your questions out in the open here so you can have answers from more experienced people.

I did apply to ISI and Arc languages school, both of them came back with a note that they don’t accept direct application for Nigerians because of proof of funds and COE, that I need a third party agent to help me do the application, I believe it’s as a result of forgery.

Ok, I had a serious issue in Nigeria. I had booked my flight to leave via Qatar Airways, but on getting to the Qatar desk in Nigeria the agent profiling me started asking for all sorts of things, my degree certificate, my nysc certificate, my admission letter, and all sort of nonsense. After I presented everything he then went and asked if I had paid my school fees. I told him I had paid and showed him the receipt. The man said he needed to see money leaving my Nigerian account to the Japanese account.
Meanwhile I had paid the money to a family friend who used his own money in Japan to pay so he didn't necessarily need to move money from Nigeria to Japan. This Qatar agent just went loco on me, he insisted I bought a return ticket again.
I was like how do you buy a return ticket on a two year travel visa? What date would I put on it?
To cut the long story short the man wickedly made me miss my flight. I was devastated,I then met one of his colleagues who said I should come the next day.
I got to the airport the next day and the there was a little back and forth with some of them at the desk and a more reasonable person asked me some questions and said he would allow me fly that I was good to go. But then I had to rebook another flight since I add missed my first flight but then no extra seat so I had go back home again. Anyways the all scenario set me back another 900k to rebook another flight for Wednesday. Got to the airport met with the people who profiled me on Saturday and finally left the country on the 1st of October.[/quote]

Did Biometrics in May, no mail yet or request from Canada to submit my passport, is there anyone facing similar issue ?

Sorry I didn’t update sooner, passport hasn’t been submitted, we’re still waiting for Canada to request that the passport be submitted, it’s been 5 months now, next month will make it the 6th…. Is this normal ?

Your passport is with the agent because it impossible you did biometric 9th of May and submitted passport to Canada visa centre on the 14th of May via your agent as you stated earlier .

Ask your agent for your passport it 1000% with the agent!!

But on the 14th was the day i forwarded my passport to him, I’ll ask a few questions and I’ll keep you posted

The agent, but then the agent is somebody I know personally, but human beings can be funny sometimes. He has been telling me that it’s Canada that is yet to grand the approval letter

Hi everyone,

I am hoping I will be able to help some people with their questions on this thread based on my experience.

I got admission for summer semester in Jan 2021 and also applied for the visa under category B same day, I did my enrollment and my admission was intact. Exactly March 30, i got an email that my application had expired that i need to reapply by April 1st 2021.

I reapplied but did not get any invite and I also sent several emails which I did not get response to. Anyway, Jan ending 2022, i got an invite on a Friday and my interview was supposed to be on a Tuesday.

The race to block my account started on that Friday, thank God I already opened a sterling bank account before I got the invite. Monday morning I was at their head office in Lagos and I was told form-A is now online and I have to fill the form online, upload my documents and write a letter.

I noticed people are filling Form-a without going to the bank or sending email to their account officer to acknowledge that they made the request. It will not be processed if you don't let them know that you actually made the request.


I was not debited by my bank before the interview, so I didn't get block account documents but I went for the interview regardless. When I got in for the interview and I was asked about my block account by my interviewer and I explained my situation. I was not allowed to do the interview but she advised me to send an email immediately i get the documents with my reference number, passport number , my previous date and attach my block account documents in pdf format to it and request for another date.

I was given another date after 2weeks of sending the email.

So if you have gotten a date before and for whatever reasons you could not make it for your interview date or not allowed to be interviewed, send an email with all the above information and the documents that you need to present. 2 people I know got a new date like this.

After my interview i waited for 4weeks before getting approval Mail.

The process can be frustrating sometimes but be patient.

One mistake i made while waiting was not going to a language school in Nigeria.

The onus is on you to prove relationship.

Apart from the sponsorship letters, try taking pictures with them, present WhatsApp chats and if possible they should pay a bulk of the fees from their account

Although this guarantees nothing, but it strengthens your application especially when you're not biologically related to the sponsor.

For the record they are not black Canadians, I have tons of pictures from them, chat and screenshot of video chat
I know it's not a guarantee, but in someway I hope it strengthens my chances of getting in.... I have my personal money and other properties I can add too.
