He's feeling good. Trying to look on positives, today has been a good day, yesterday, a lot of energies were in the air. People were nominated, a lot of them were sad because they knew one of them would have to leave.

Were you surprised by noms?

He is surprised he wasn't nominated. He has spoken to Hermes a bit and thought he would pick from a logical standpoint. He knew he would pick Cyph because Cyph has been top on the HoH games, then he expected Khalid too to be in there, expected Phyna too because she has big energy. He expected himself to be there and the last person would be random

What would he have done if he were in Hermes' shoes?


if he was in Hermes' shoes, he would have done as he did, because this is a game, he would have picked from a logical standpoint. He does not know how he arrived at Christy O and Amaka, but the last two would have been at random. He would have picked the biggest contenders as well.

Saturday Night party thoughts?

He met Diana that he had been waiting to meet all week, and they were having fun. He enjoyed the party, he thinks another person may have caught his eye, but he will see as it goes. Aside him, there was the Beauty and Groovy thing. Beauty is his friend and so is Groovy, they have some situationshio, relationship thing he does not understand, but they Sha have ship.

At the party, she tapped him to point to Groovy, and he sef pointed at Groovy, because he thought it was jokes. So, he did not understand where her anger came from. Yes, Groovy is an attractive Guyz but she too, is a bad B, so he did not expect that reaction from her. She did not maintain Beauty. She did not need to go off like that, and he understands how Groovy may have triggered her, and how Ilebaye too was in the wrong, but people will annoy you in the house, and you need to maintain calm. What she did was not cool, and even if it was not Ilebaye, he would have still spoken up for the person.
Beauty is still his friend, but he thinks she should be more rational, even though she is the way she is. Things did not need to go as they did, and they were having good vibes before all of that. He does not want to be involved in their thing, because he does not know what Groovy is telling her in private, because he no dey there. He Sha wishes the night ended differently

He does not know how things will go, but he has decided to face the people that the game has decided are his threats for now. He just wants his house to be in sync for the wager. They won HoH, so let them win the wager and Level 1 can drink garri for balance.

Thoughts on Deji?

He looks familiar, he has not spent time with him to say. He has observed the other HMs outside wager and HoH games. He does not think of socialising during those games, he is just focused. He will observe him maybe on Saturday night.


Thoughts on the week's Task and the sport they are developing?

He is super positive about the task and what they are doing. As much as it is a sport, it is also supposed to be entertaining. He is positive their creativity will pull through for them. Their creative juices are flowing, and as much as they hear others opinion, they add it up. As a collective, they know when to lean back and allow one person take the lead on certain ideas, and build off on that. So, he is positive about their task.

Thoughts on HoH games?

The first game is a game of chance, second game is also a game of chance with some physical strength. Anyone could have made it to the second round, but some few names keep coming up. He does not know if it is a thing of hunger. He made a mistake by setting his watch to 3 and not 4, at a point, he just did not want to be the tail. It would have been nice to make it to the second round. He wishes not only Cyph got to that final round, because it is a lot to carry. He wishes it was not just Cyph who had to carry the weight of the house. He also feels him not getting to the next round also saved him from being nominated. It would have just been nice for them to have won.

If you haven't noticed, this season is poised to be different from most previous season. From the way the head of house nominates alone (how it's done on other franchises) Which automatically puts a target on his back thereby making such coveted position of HOH a blessing and a curse, To pitting the two houses against each other and making them compete for immunity, wager...e.t.c.

The plan this season is not only to get entertainment but to get good gameplay from the housemates. Bbnaija used to be solely for the entertainment but it's good that gameplay is been introduced. A good balance of both will be the best thing for this franchise. So gone are the days where vibes and insha'Allah will get you far. All we went is good entertainment and good game play. That's not too much to ask.

I am not sure I understand why this fact has remained so hard for people to comprehend. Is this a Nigerian thing?

What Hermes did to me is his own decision. However, the fact that he nominated Khalid, a supposed close buddy and roommate of his is bound to elicit shocking reactions from all. I'm not emotional about it whether what he did was right or wrong. I can't judge him but the fact is that loyalty has always been a good quality and it's still is.
