Spunkyspunk10:
The Redmi 8a vs Redmi 7a
Which is the very best?

Redmi 8a, look at the specs yourself na.
64bit OS Vs 32bit OS alone is enough to render 7a useless in the fight

kayprinz:
I'm not scared again

Better.

kayprinz:
that are the reasons I want to root my phone but I'm scared it may affect my phone

If you are this scared then tweaking is not for you.

icetrimz:
Battery ?

Just got the phone on Tuesday.

The phone literally "Hypotanize" every charger we've tried to charge it with. The charger comes back working only when we've unplugged the phone.

I'm saying whenever I plug the phone to a charger, the charger goes dead, resulting to power not getting to the phone.

Abi the phone na witch ni ??

Which charging bricks have you tried with the phone?

icetrimz:
Haha

This young man is dying here

It might be a battery problem.

icetrimz:

I hardly use two Sims at once anyways

icetrimz:
Guys please I need your help. My friend just got a new phone from Jumia. Problem is, after 3days of usage phone refuse to charge. Charger goes off as soon as phone is plugged in. Tried different chargers but same thing. Infact my laptop can't read the phone when plugged into the usb...phone battery is completely dead now.

If you can do with Single SIM on the Mi 10 global go ahead

branham890:

Convid-19 has increased the price, it used to be #36500

Spunkyspunk10:
Even if it's the RN7 3gb vs the Redmi 8 4gb??

Ram can't surpass the features and superior components RN7 Packs. A phone is more than RAM.

branham890:
no vex abeg, i saw a redmi phone <2/32> at 42k on jumia....should i go 4 it? i need your advice bro

You didn't specify the model you saw how do I advice you now?

melodyogonna:
I can't get my phone to vibrate while it's ringing ; it's a redmi 7

I'm missing calls because of this

Have you checked sound settings

Modified. I can see it has been resolved

Peakyblinder:
I don't want to buy online. Went to spar portharcourt and its 75k. Does pointek have a physical store in ph?

Yes. Check their site for address

Mustiboy:
You mean I can use redmi note 8 gcam?

Moreover, the link to the config file isn't working

I said you should go through my posts, you will see where I shared three GCam links try one of them

branham890:
i just checked pointonline....are they legit?

Pointek has been a Xiaomi partner since they came into the country.

Mustiboy:
Genius43

Please, I need an effective Gcam for RN7. Config and apk link.

I'm not really enjoying the version 7.2 I have.

Check XDA. Ultimately or check my posts to see links I have posted of recent. If you see RN8 try it.

Ultimately you have to settle for one otherwise you will be installing Gcams every other day.

olayinkajnr:
Lmao, I never trusted them one bit.

I prefer exynos to mtk even. At least person know wetin that one day capable of.

It's vain trying to make people reason with you, especially when you have facts. They'll always twist it.

Samsung started it(not necessarily when they started) with the Exynos that came with the S4, when they were caught for lying.

Fuckdem:
GM boss

I hail thee

Haa!!!! 24hrs in Nairaland prison custody plus bail processing is tedious and hard.

WizAkzy:
After editing. Hope its not too saturated

It is not

michaellovaldo:
Overexposed?

Nice one

Juicey10:
Tried this with light room
Hope it's cool

This is better than the one he edited. The skin tone didn't become too unnatural

Dabira007:
I second that

Have you seen camon 15 pro cam?
It will give Samsung s20 a run for it's price...

Weldone Tecno...
Team Tecno king of cam

Switch back to your alternate

NightFood:
Funny enough, side by side, the Camon series especially the recent ones will beat any one here

Clown

alosbaba007:
Still way cheaper from AliExpress prices both 64 and 128

This is cheaper though.

6/128Gb cheapest you will get it plus shipping considering the exchange rate is about 100k

chinchonglee:
Redmi note 8

Check from here

genius43:
1. From the repository where all mods submit their GCam Mods.
2. You can use XDA or Nairaland here to ask nicely or research what other RN8 Users uses.

3. The Xiaomi compilation thread have some GCam links that could be "Compatible" with Redmi Note 8.

4. You can try any of these to see if it is "compatible";
a.https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/7.3_GCam_MJL_v4.0.2_Minilux.apk
b.https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/trCamera_V2_Dream_Catcher.apk
c.https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/MGC_7.3.020_Parrot043-v2.apk
