suco01: Does RN7 have face recognition to unlock. if yes how do I go about it?
Must I factory reset after I update RN7? Face unlock is available for Nigeria version as long as you have updated your device |

stephinnoyewole: U said this earlier I am only asking how u confirmed this, I havent seen any durability test for R7 When they released the phone it was in their announcement. They can't lie because this is the first time Xiaomi are putting out info on the protection used on their midrange devices. |

shyshally: Pls I've been seeing xiaomi redmi note 7s on GSM arena. Seems the main difference with note 7 is the camera. Just want to know if it'll be available in Nigeria and anymore major difference between the 2. As I plan on getting note 7 next month. Note 7s is The Global Note 7 made for Indians. The Initial Note 7 released for Indian had a 12 + 2mp camera setup unlike the 48+5mp found on the Chinese and Global version which have here in Nigeria |

enoch273: I ve not, don't know it, pls guide me I don't use a Note 7 pro. But if it is not in the front panel where photo, portrait, square, video, etc are click The 3 flat lines at your top right corner it will bring a drop down Check there. You will see the settings icon and other features there. When you get an app try to locate the settings first by doing so you will learn other functionality the app has to offer. Play around with your camera app and test features and adjust what you don't like to get the best out of it. |

enoch273: I use the redmi note 7 pro, but I don't know how to use the night sight feature. Also how do I use the color pop? Select the mode from your camera app but Xiaomi calls theirs night scene. Night Sight can be found on GCam because it is a Google Pixel feature Color pop is from a Google editing app called Snapseed. |

EseAbed: Hello, I want to change my phone, Redmi note 5a prime, I love everything about the phone except the rear camera, it's horrible! So I've been eyeing the Mi 8 lite for some time now but with the recent introduction of Redmi Note 7, I'm confused! I'm a camera freak and I heard the Note 7 is just being overrated camerawise besides the selfie cam on Mi 8 lite is better than that of RN7. I need your advice pls, which should I go for..? I don't care about battery and the rest, I trust XiaoMi to deliver well in those areas. I just need a good camera(Rear and Selfie).
P.S, if there's anything I can do on my Redmi Note 5A Prime to enhance the camera pls lemme know so I don't bother to sell! Else, A year Old Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime. 3gb/32gb at 25k. Negotiable A wonderful 16mp Selfie Camera with soft flash, Mediocre Rear Camera, Fast 3gb ram with Snapdragon Processor. MIUI 10. You can check the rest on Google. Everything works just fine, No faults. Call 08086182656 or WhatsApp 08068346806!
Thanks First of all no ads here. Secondly, the Redmi Note 7 is not overrated. I rate it above the mi 8 lite. Also the mi 8 lite has no 3.5mm jack |

spartacus11: Lol my Max 2 was taking hard fall as in real hard fall, case will break, screen protector will break, but phone screen was intact 100%
But one small yeye fall wen nor reach anything, from a seating, phone fell less than 2feet i.e 24inches the phone screen went south.
I've used LG that fell from Upstairs to down floor, no single scratch or crack on screen, phone fell when i wanted to put on the touch light, screen broke
phone screen breaking has nothing to do with hard or soft fall, either of such fall can damage a screen My S4 that year bounced twice on tiles from a height of 4 feet nothing happened but only just hard to bounce from my bed and the screen had a crack. |

Troublemaker101: You're right, but it isn't the deciding factor... A good example is the mtk p60 vs sd 636 on the x5 & x6 but the x6 takes way better photos That's the GPU of the SD636 paired with a good camera setup doing its work. |

Troublemaker101: See as u made it look like I'm making a do or die choice ... Thanks very much for your opinion but do u have anything to say on the x6 The X6 is not bad but my concern is the battery. But between the three I will pick the Redmi Note 7 without missing a heartbeat IMHO |

wiseword316: U have said it all bro. U have used the best adjective in the entire cosmos to qualify the RN7 "DOPE". I once had a popular phone name withheld dat fell from my pocket, the result was catastrophic. Since i got the device have been enjoying it. Hope say no be Sammy. |

Troublemaker101: Are u certain that the note 6 pro won't get the android q?... Most probably |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 3:24pm On May 24, 2019 |
Troublemaker101: Very good point actually... But the koko here is that the resulting photos look better on the Redmi note 6 pro (at least from what I've seen so far) especially the selfie cam .. And seeing as the 2 generation old note 5 pro which ships with a 7.1.2 nougat os has received the Android pie update, I'm not really bothered about support Isn't there someone with the note 6 pro on this forum that can give me photo samples?... We'll talk about gcam later Note 5 AI shipped with Android 8. Don't confuse the Redmi Note 5 pro/AI with the Indian Redmi Note 5/ Redmi 5 plus. The Note 6 pro won't get android Q. Same as the Note 5 pro/AI. Note 5 pro/AI pie is still on beta testing. Xiaomi normally releases one major upgrade on their Midrangers apart from the android one phones. |

Troublemaker101: But it's worth it ,the nightsight was what really got me and I love the color pop feature... Also, I don't really mind it especially if it opens the door to various custom roms... That's why my first post on this thread was about gcam on the RN6 pro But all those features are available on the Redmi Note 7 and the Note 7 will get more support than the Note 6 pro since it is already one generation old. |
