The College of Medicine (COMUI), University of Ibadan, Nigeria, recorded an amazing performance from an outgoing student of the 2021 set. Thus, putting him at the peak of being the best graduating student. John Okopi, now a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree holder, didn't find it easy as a student. For him, he experienced what is commonly said that "life isn't a bed of roses". His financial constraints made that clause a reality. Indeed, "not all of us are born with silver spoons". Besides that, Dr. John Okopi began as an average student, with a 206 on the infamous JAMB exam, which secured him admission. On the other hand, most of his colleagues scored way higher (medical school isn't a joke, as we all know). However, he had no choice but to make lemonade out of the lemons thrown at him by life. He buckled down and hit his studies hard after realizing that he had to be wise. Also enlisted in his book of experiences are: floating around in various hostels; sleeping in various reading rooms; and using the infamous medical anatomy textbook, Keith Moore, as a pillow. God still saw him through. His life through school is truly an inspiration. Below is an interview with the inspiring Dr. John Okopi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2iJBpOzLw8 |

I don't even know what section to post this, but I settled in this section. I hope it's the right one In my opinion, the most difficult people to get to subscribe to your YouTube channel are Nigerians. They sometimes blame it on lack of data and some people believe subscribing to a channel takes extra charges, which is not true. Or most times if they should subscribe, the channel is either related to entertainment ( comedy, music, movies and videos) beauty or religion. Top 3 channels with the highest subscribers in Nigeria include 1) Mark Angel comedy- over 7 million 2) Editorial Natural beauty - over 2 million 3) Emmanuel TV - over 1 million Compared to their American counterparts, the most subscribed channel has a whooping 108 million subscribers. So back to my topic, my channel is an educational channel (out of the normal entertainment trend like music and videos). I post Medical tutorials, life style and health related videos, medical informative and entertaining videos. Even with all the hurdles, being a Nigerian alone is enough barrier. I still got 1000 subscribers in a month without any cheat or subscribers booster which is illegal. This video encompasses how I achieved this feat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MmKtZV3EQA |
