soul brother if you want a reliable serve do the following
1. contact an ISP yourself(preferable outside the country)
2.get the equipment that is compactable with their services
3. get someone knowlagable to install it for you
4. pay your subscription to them dirctly
in that way you actually get the bandwidth you are paying for ans the middle men tha call themself isp will be out of the way

any cisco router expert in nairaland?
i configured a 2801 cisco router/sdm. using GUI(sdm software version 2.2)as a dhcp server but my client are not getting on net.

am handy kev. i work with an ISP in Abuja have some fiveyears on job experience with Vsat and hp proliant servers

you don't need any sort of licensing from NCC to own and and use a Vsat in Nigeria -even if you get the equipment and bandwidth from Europe or America
but  u do need expertise to install it and get it running
