Everything in this thread makes me laugh. I really don’t want to agree with the content though. We have preferences and the society we find ourselves can make our preferences change only if we can open ourselves to it. Generally in the West, not everyone subscribes to the kind of marriage done in Nigeria, the grandiloquence and glamour etc. I think common law relationships are more and it’s not what our ladies are used to thus this perceived loneliness most people assume of Nigerian ladies. I don’t really think they are lonely. I feel they’re just not open enough to their society. I don’t live in Canada though but I am not in Nigeria and I see how the Nigeria ladies blend with the environment where I am.
