GOFRONT:You are an illiterate a.n.I.m.a.l. I know say normally, as they have been exposing your fraudulent Pentecostal people back to back, it has been a shame and headache to you. You don finally see one white garment, and in your mind this is the sacrificial lamb. I suspect you to be a thieving pastor and you made this comment because white garment do reduce your members. Shame on you. |
Nigerians, a great people who are very skilled in one thing; blaming EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE else for their problems except themselves. It’s high time that we realize that WE as Nigerians are NOT good people. It’s time we take responsibility for our absolute wickedness and selfishness. Why am I ranting? Let’s take it from the recent update from the CBN regarding charges from ATM withdrawals in Nigeria. We all know, that surely the POS merchants will be the ones who will bear the brunt the most, as they use ATMs the most these days. Yes we know many of them withdraw the cash from ATM and bring to the streets. YES we know that the charges will affect them. But this is my point: In what sane world would a business person or trader be so GREEDY and SELFISH, that if they make 10 naira profit, even if the whole world burns, they will NEVER part with 0.50 kobo of their profits, no matter what may be? I studied economics, and everyone knows that economy, government policies, foreign exchange, and general national issues tend to take a toll on the day to day income of the people. But guess what, Nigerians are so vile and greedy, that NONE of these things ever affects them, especially the common business man. Fuel goes up by 50 naira, transportation goes up by 200 naira per person. Dollar goes up 5%, goods increase 30-40%. The government imposes 100 naira toll per day, transport increases 100 naira PER PERSON. Ask yourself, who is really hurting Nigerians ![]() Now there is a levy on ATM withdrawals. 600 naira on withdrawals from other banks. An increase from the 60 naira fee paid when you use ATM from other banks. Question is, if you are making about 150k monthly from your POS business, and this new levy will shortchange you about 20k per month, tell me why a business in Nigeria will NEVER take a 10% even a 1% loss, knowing fully well that the problem isn’t demand, it isn’t supply, it’s a GENERAL government policy. Again I ask, who is really hurting Nigerians? We are a wicked people. Simple. |
jelmusboy:Chief, how do we reach you? |
Good day nairalanders, please help a brother. I know that you need to submit statement of account as POF when applying for visa, it the question now is, what if you were using a nice finance bank and only moved your money few weeks before application? What if your family member loaned you the money or transferred it to you few weeks? The statement of account is 3 months old required. What if you just opened the bank account few weeks to application? Even though you have enough, will the above be a problem?? |
