*School ID card
*Passport (4 copies, White and Red background ) Photocopies needed are: a copy of your statement of result or certificate and your registration slip which would be issued to you in the camp. Avoid making excess photocopies of your documents as in my time I was misinformed to make 10 photocopies of each documents. N/B They will collect your Original callup letter and Green card to open a file for you together with six copies of your passport. The photocopies of your Green card and Callup is your own copies as a reference as they don't need it. Photocopies of your School ID card is not needed as they only view it and give it back to you. Kindly note the following 2018 Batch “B” Prospective Corps Members (PCMs)
(a) PCMs who are yet to register in the NYSC portal including the newly uploaded graduates, your Registration starts Tuesday 10th July, 2018 to Monday 16th July, 2018.
(b) The NYSC portal will be open for Revalidation only for those mobilized in 2017 Batch “B” and previous Batches, but did not go to the Orientation Camp.
(c) Those who were mobilized in 2018 Batch “A” and were Issued Call-up Numbers but were informed that their Orientation will be July 2018, are not to register again or revalidate on the portal. Instead you are to go to the Orientation Camp on the 24th July, 2018. You will be informed when to print your Call-up Letters through SMS.
(d) PCMs who submitted applications for dropping of Biometrics during 2018 Batch “A” Camp Verification should login to their dashboard and recapture their Finger Print from 10th July, 2018 to 16th July, 2018.

TOPIC: *FAN OR DISCIPLE?*

*FIRE SCRIPTURE:* Matthew 4:18-22

*MEMORY VERSE:*
```For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?``` *-Matthew 16:26*

*The MESSAGE:*
Are you a fan of Jesus or a disciple? There is a difference between a fan of Jesus and a follower (disciple) of Jesus. A fan is an admirer. There is little or no commitment, responsibility and accountability. However, it is important to understand what it means to be a follower or disciple of Jesus Christ. If you are a true follower of Jesus, then you have to be accountable to Him, and you have some responsibilities to discharge for Him. In the words of a famous leader, "the price of greatness is responsibility". If Jesus Christ is truly the Lord of your life, you will do what He tells you to do. For some of us, Jesus is our Saviour, but He is not our Lord. One way to know Jesus' disciple is that they follow His instructions. Fan don't necessarily follow the instructions of their heroes and heroines.

Many football clubs have fans spread around the world. They wear their club's jerseys and other mementos for identification. Some go to the stadium to cheer up their favourite club or players. Some pay fees to watch them on the screen. They jubilate and celebrate when their favourite player scores and when their darling club wins. They also exhibit pain and disappointment whenever their their team loses. However, one thing about the fans of a star player or famous club is that they can switch their allegiance at will. A supporter or fan of Chelsea Football Club can decide tomorrow to abandon Chelsea Football Club and become a supporter or fan of Barcelona Football Club. No strings attached. This is because the issue here is sports (a mundane affair). Spiritual things are much more important than that. A disciple of Jesus cannot turn away from the Master to follow man or go into the world. He is a soldier in an army and is expected to die as a soldier. His loyalty and allegiance to the Master must be unwavering and resolute.

Obedience, unquestioning and complete loyalty are hallmarks of Christ's true disciples. These traits are non-negotiable. Jesus promised that everyone who has left all to follow Him will receive a hundred fold rewards here and will inherit everlasting life. The reason these blessings promised by Jesus are lacking in the lives of many Christians today, is that they are fans of Jesus by their thoughts, speeches and actions. They are not His disciples. Their lives are characterised by either partial obedience or outright disobedience. Their attitude is: "Lord, I will serve you as long as I can attend church programme on Sundays only. I will remain a Christian only if I don't have to do evangelism or go to the mission field. I will serve you if I don't have to stop drinking alcohol." They give the Lord their terms and conditions. They want to serve Him the way they find convenient only. Such people are fans and not disciples. Beloved, the benefits of being Christ's true follower are immeasurable. You were not saved to be His fan but His disciple. I pray that the Lord will help you to turn a new leaf today, in Jesus' name.

Dear Prospective Corps Members, as you journey through various lands to your places of deployment, you will arrive safely with your host communities at peace with you and your expectations will not be cut short i. Jesus' name, amen. Listening carefully and following the directs of your camp officials will aid your survival both in camp and outta camp service activities. These instructions carries according to ethnic group, religion, culture and social structure and system amongst others. As many people as you meet in camp, don't let them go without actually getting their contacts if they suit your personality for you know not who God will use to shower you blessing and render help. Don't discriminate. Your new phase of life starts with three week orientation where all that you need to make through this phase and the determinant of how you go about the other phases is determined. Beloved the three weeks experience can give you what you won't get in 5years and if you do it won't come easy.

Trust God and don't let slip any of His commands. Jesus is Lord. Trust His promises. He is always with you. Only believe and you will be amazed how you succeed this phase startup. Let love be your watchwords where ever you find yourself irrespective of religion, ethnic group or political affiliation. Obey the laws of the land stay clear from their forbidden. Ask as many questions as you can't imagine for he that asks questions can never miss locating his destination.

Serve Nigeria diligently and pray for her. Do your best to impact the society you find yourself if you have skilled knowledge for the good you do today the reward you must get tomorrow same as the rejection you give.

God did not call us to destruction but we have choice to decide for life and death he have given us to choose only but one. NYSC just 1 year sometimes less than that. It has a strong effect if you live right and do right and same if you do otherwise. Avoid friends that will not increase your experience positively. Avoid friends that needs you but will not help you.

If you feel in secured or threatened, report. Don't avoid asking questions and making enquiries for that may be your open door to appointment letter. Don't seclude yourself from group of fellows for from them information spreads instead don't let them influence you if they negate your principles and believe.

As a graduate you can do anything suffice its good and will pay. Kill "the pay is small" mindset for that will solve a lot of problems when you least expect and that opportunity accepted may lead to bigger rewards.

Save...! Save.....! Save.....! That man that complain when he gets little will in same way complain when he gets an increase. Start to manage and be content with this little for indeed bigger is coming but now matters a lot. Love God with all your heart and don't judge. All powers belongs to God and to Him alone is Judgement.

You will not loose your life Serving this great nation except you choose to give for her. The end of your service year will be joyful and testimony filled.

D info I passed isnt aimed 4 camp alone. Its both 4 in and outta camp. D hand glove can b any colour, d head warmer any colour goes bt if u get wit beta anyow u guyz must always av ur NYSC cap on. 4 stock ins, any colour but u av 2 cover wit white.

Dear Katsina PCMs please I beseech you to com to camp with a sweater...... The weather nw is very cold here. Jst lyk u wont forget u docs 4 clearance in same vain u shud not for a sweater. A VERY THICK SWEATER. Its beta u buy from u location because here is xpensive because of demand.

D kit for the cold weather shuld include - very thick sweater, hand gloves, head warmers, stockins and thick blanckets for night.

This is very serious. Treat it as such. Source for info 2 clear ur doubts 4 dose dat wil because certainly many wil doubt. But I plead dont neglect dis info.
