You made a mistake, when we open panels as phone repairers, we remove just the panel then clean it with petrol and dry it off with heat. I don't know if alcohol works or not but i think they work similarly. What you are experiencing now might not be a panel problem, your screen is probably damaged due to the fact that it is waterlogged.

You shouldn't have rushed charging or putting it back on immediately. Also drying in rice requires you leave it covered in rice for at least a week. You did well cleaning with alcohol but you need to leave it in the rice for a very long period. May be you should try that

Before the phone spoilt? No. I've tried holding the power button for almost two minutes, but nothing happened and if i charge it, it starts blinking the red light

Please guys my Xiaomi redmi note 4x fell into water some days back and immediately i dried it in rice, left it for about an hour. Later i opened the phone , unscrewed everything and use alcohol to clean the panel(at least that's what they said on youtube). I let it dry and then i plugged the charger. But it started blinking RED light and it won't come on.

What do you suggest i do guys?
