President is the one who decides who wins and who loses. How do you expect the country to develop? We have been left behind by almost every country in Africa. Ire oo |

vanitybutiwanti: Fubara cannot go for the Convention tomorrow, you know nothing about Rivers politics. Tinubu has handed Rivers to wike, anybody not aligned with wike in Rivers is wasting their time and fubara understands that's exactly why he won't do anything contrary to wikes directive. You are not current with the situation of things at the moment. Tinubu will never hand over River State to Wike knowing he is a power drunk and can backstab him if he loose guide, please wake up from your illusion. Thanks |

Politics › Re: Who Are The Indeginous Peoples Of Lagos ? by Gerhards: 6:12pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
DelilahMakinde: The indigenous peoples of Lagos State, Nigeria, are primarily the Awori and the Ogu (Egun) people.
The Awori , a Yoruba sub-group, are considered the original settlers of much of Lagos, including areas like Ikeja. The Ogu (Egun) people are mainly found in the Badagry area.
Additionally, the Ilaje and Ijebu , who are also Yoruba groups, are indigenous to parts of Lagos, especially in coastal and eastern divisions like Lekki Peninsula, Epe, and Ikorodu.
Historically, other ethnic groups such as the Bini (Edo), Saros, Brazilians , Kannike/Tapa , and some Nupe have also settled in Lagos, but the Awori and Ogu remain recognized as the primary indigenous owners of the state
- AI I won’t accept this lie, do you know that the people of Ewe is also indigene of Lagos |

ALTERNATEID: Tinubu that is trying to change this arrangement, Trump is after him and same Nigerians are supporting Trump. See, Africans are irredeemable. That have absolute no idea what governance is all about and they don’t even know which decision is in their interest or not. Can you stop or misquoting what Trump said? Trump only asked Tinubu to wipe out terrorists killing innocent Nigerians, what’s wrong with that?

Politics › Re: Lagos Would Be Better Than London, New York If Nigeria Kept Oil Proceeds – Akon by Gerhards: 6:04pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
Putindbutt: Of course, the likes of Shell have been exploiting crude oil in Nigeria before independence, pumped it in vessels and shipped abroad. Only giving tokens to Nigerian Government in form of royalties and taxes. More unfortunately, the Military Governments even empowered them the more as long as they were oiling their deep pockets privately. One of such military government was Abacha under which a certain fraud from Agulu served as a boi boi, he benefitted from the corrupt military government. Today, he is telling his gullible supporters a new Nigeria is possible. Thankfully, we now have a President who has the love of the country at heart and is now repositioning the fortunes of the country's oil sector. In line with Akon's evaluation, Tinubu has been supporting local investors to take over the oil sector and keep it running. Under Tinubu, three big local oil companies have acquired some offshore assets of some major international oil companies like Shell and ExxonMobil. A local consortium company has also bought some. Tinubu is trying to make sure the oil money is largely retained within the country. The masters stroke is the new policy of allocating oil wells to local refiners like Dangote to directly drill and pump his oil to his refinery. Also important is the policy of buying crude oil in naira rather than dollars. I wish you could write this gibberish without tears Do you prefer bucket or water tank?

PigTormentor: Wrong. Any Yoruba can claim Lagos, we don't mind. Coming from a true son of Lagos state. You lied there, this will stop those from Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Oyo from claiming Lagos or aspiring to become Governor of Lagos and it will be easier to detect and deport them back to their villages like Sanwo olu did last year |
