We know the tribe who killed Isaac Adaka Boro
Isaac Adaka Boro was killed in 1968 during the Nigerian Civil War, under suspicious circumstances, after joining the Federal Army following his earlier pardon for treason for leading a 12-day rebellion in 1966. Theories about his death include him being a threat to Colonel Benjamin Adekunle's political ambitions or him being betrayed by Igbo soldiers who viewed him as a traitor for fighting against Biafra. |

Is this the reason Tinubu is moving the country backwards? You are not fooling anyone, tell Emilokan to return Nigeria where it was before he grab it and run away with it 😁🤣😁 |

lawani: After Lagos the next most developed state is Oyo state. It used to be Oyo before Lagos as at decades ago. VAT collection attests to this. I researched the number of hotels and it says the same. Oyo has the second highest number of hotels in the country at 1008. I can't remember Lagos figure. Anambra is the highest in the east at 749 or so. Edo is around 725. Delta is over 800. Osun. Is 697. Only Anambra is higher than Osun in the SE. Enugu is just over 500. Is it not the same Ibadan the capital of brown roofs or there are 2 Ibadan in southwest? Make una fear GOD 😁😁😁 |

Politics › Re: Northern Leaders Should Call Atiku Abubakar To Order Before It's Too Late by Gerhards: 12:30pm On Aug 03, 2025 |
WizardOfNG: GEJ had one term of 4 years plus 1 year as substantive President , before that, meaning he had been in power a total of five years before the 2015 election yet seeking four more years that would have made it 9 years in total which is even more than the two term.of 8 years all Presidents are constitutionally and normally limited to serving bar the intervention of fate unexpectedly with the death of Yar Adua.
If people like you don't understand what some Southern leaders had to do for peace to reign, appeasing a people who do not even like to be out of power for a minute yet had to endure 5 years without it under GEJ and courtesy of the death of Yar Adua, then it may be you have not reached the requisite level of seeing the truth about Nigerian politics.
I.e you don't understand that, pragmatically, politics of Nigeria is very different to thay of other nations of the world with so much "balancing' required to placate many to include those who parade as democratic leaders by day but can be supporters of murderous actions and restiveness when they feel deprived and cheated.
I even mentioned it to another poster with your line of argument of "Tinubu and Southerners ousted GEJ from power" how you guys can reconcile your allegation with the position of GEJ himself today and even his wife. Is it not obvious they know, even as they cannot admit it publicly, that Tinubu is not the enemy and acted in the greater interest of what is best for the peace and unity of Nigeria?
https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/why-jonathan-wont-run-against-tinubu-in-2027-patience/%3famp Jonathan return the favor by supporting him in 2023, the second term is a pay back time, Tinubu must be a one term president, kiss the truth 😁😁🤣 |
Politics › Re: Northern Leaders Should Call Atiku Abubakar To Order Before It's Too Late by Gerhards: 12:27pm On Aug 03, 2025 |
Nairalandhero: Atiku Abubakar is the problem of Nigeria. Presidency is rotated between the South and the North, but Atiku has refused to honor this gentleman agreement between the South and North.
Buhari finished 8 years tenure without any disturbances from the South. The South respected themselves and allowed the North to finish their 8 year tenure.
Atiku should respect himself and step aside until the South finish their own tenure. Atiku has no regard for the South, he is always dragging Presidency with the South, he has no respect for the South, but this time around, the South will teach him a lesson he will never forget in his life.
If Atiku continues to disrespect the South, APC will give it's presidential ticket to someone from the South in 2031 when it will be the turn of the North, if the northern leaders refuse to call Atiku Abubakar to order. Why does Atiku like dragging position with the South? Is Atiku a southerner? I don't understand.
Northern leaders should call Atiku Abubakar to order, he should respect the South the way the southerners respected Buhari's 8 years tenure or the South will give him exactly what he is looking for.
If Atiku continues his disregard against the southerners, APC will field someone from the South in 2031, and there's nothing the North will do about it, because Atiku started it. If the North do anything funny, the President will use Soldiers against them.
The South are not cowards. Gentleman agreement must be respected. Your gaslighting will not work, trust me on that, we are wiser than that, there’s nothing like southern turn , please use Yoruba turn under APC arrangement, and has nothing to do with ADC or other political parties, Tinubu would have use the word Southern Nigeria lo kan if he truly mean it’s southern Nigeria, I would advise you to close this thread now, thanks |

sreamsense: No, it is not hypocrisy! Hausa and other tribes living in Lagos and anywhere else don't use to pass their boundaries. They are not arrogant or wish their hosts evils or chests beating everywhere. You will come to yoruba land to hussle, you will achieve your aims and then you begin to hate them and call them different bad and derogatory names. You will say their states are brown roofs despite they are sharing excesses of their money to cater for your states.
Your actions spoke louder than your voices, anywhere you are in the world; don't always cross your host's boundary, never takes their peaceful nature for stupidity. As they respect you, respect them. Don't try to arrogantly prove to them you are wiser and smarter than them, let them find out you are wise and call you when your service is needed.
They are sharing their resources and food with you, you bellefull and still holding their hands to abuse and insult them. In summary, learn not to cross your boundaries, maintain your lanes Your victim mentality will never work here, go and Preach that to your People Who stop other Nigerians from voting in Lagos in 2023, a lot of people were beating and injured for exercising their constitutional right, why did your people refused to condemn it? Why brought up Lagos is no man’s land in 2023 during election? That word has been existing for so long time, who called Lagos no man’s land in 2023? I would appreciate your evidence, the path you guys are taking is dangerous and I hope it won’t consume you. Changing streets add or remove anything from the igbos, just a waste of time and energy, i wait your proof 😁🤣😁 |

WizardOfNG: Bro, I don't even know why they, acclaimed "supermen" of the World, are whining like toddlers. Whatever they claim Yorubas are doing, they have our express permission to retaliate and do same to us.
It is not today some of us have been warning them that they will really feel it when the progressive and sophisticated Yorubas they have mocked, denigrated and fought against in their own land, for so long, begin to say enough is enough.
This is a cold war whose only winner can be the side that needs the other for nothing at all whereas the side that will lose, and lose big, is that which relies on the opponent for everything from safe place to live, grow and rasie families to market presence to sell their goods as the glorified migrant traders and shopkeepers they are.
"Make your bed, lay in it." Simple and that is what we are seeing now. Nobody is upset with the childish tantrum of renaming streets in Lagos, do people with streets names get paid? Whose does street renaming help? Please use your sense |

Ibrahimcoomasie: I watched Showunmis video or inter with Seun of channels. I love how he blamed the South Easterners.
For 8 years, Northerners witnessed brutal bigotry directed at us from the SE. It was pure hatred. For religious reasons, we did not push back.
The same thing they also tried to do with the South westerners, and they met their match and are now screaming all over Twitter LOL.
They wanted the bigotry to be one sided like they are used to and the South westerners said it's aura for aura.
Some of the bigotry directed at us below. I don’t understand your comment, can we know precise bigotry they have been directing to the Southwest, kindly give examples of this bigotry? The same people rejected one of their own and called him Igbo because his mother and wife are from south east, I always heard they started it but there’s no evidence to proof it, and when you pressure them too much, then you will hear Igbos claims Lagos is no man’s land, why can’t southwest list what igbos has done to them You stopped them and other Nigerians from voting during presidential and governor election and some people were beating and injured, I’m glad everyone is aware of the truth behind the bigotry from some certain people from the southwest, lying will not help the situation |

Brenbentondiaz: If FG didn't build all those things and the whole of Lagos had been under the Western Region, the Western Region Government would have built all those. In case your lying grandfather didn't tell you, the Western Region Government built the first television station in Africa at Ibadan (Yorubas had a TV station before Spain, France etc). That's one history you lot wished never happened. You can't relate, though. So, a govt that had the foresight to build a TV station would know the necessity of having a port, since one of its major cities was located on the coast. You are right and we have all saw how it was replicated in Osin, Ogun, Ibadan, Ekiti and Ondo state, the joke is on you and those trying to rewrite history and the effort our federal government 😁😁 |

motymop: Lagos will still be developed than other part of Nigeria.
It has access to the deep water sea..it's location alone is lucrative for international trade.
It is also cheaper... considering it was the port of slave trade that leads directly to the ocean and to the Americans which are now our major trading partners.
L This must be a joke, waiting to see any other places in SW that looks like Lagos since it was developed by Awolowo, funny people 😁🤣 |
