Abacha looked at him straight in the face and told him, let this be the last time he will ever step his foot in Aso Rock. Because he saw Tinubu as a judas to his principal, MKO Abiola who was wallowing in prison by the same Abacha.

After facing this rejections, he went and join NADECCO to be shouting June 12 upandan.

Upon sensing that Abacha was targeting the real NADECCO members both from the North, SW, SS and SE, he escaped through the borders to the UK when no one was chasing him and became a full member of NADECO.
