Took my last official A1 exam. Still have 1 more unofficial one to get through. Hören isn’t as bad s as earlier. I’ve done a lot more listening recently although my vocabulary and sprechen has suffered for it. I intend to get a penpall to work on that more for A2. More confident in my performance as I await results. 9 weeks for A1 with working as an MO. Wasn’t for the faint hearted at all. Working with a good friend and a great and well structured Institute definitely helps a lot.

Took my first German A1 incourse today and mehn!!!!! I’m sure of 50% but not 60% 🥲. Hören hard die sha!!! That A2 is looking more like 2weeks -2 months away. Either way we are moving!!! The koko is Goethe b2 by December/january

6 weeks dey play . More like 8 weeks and even that one get big kleg
Mehn learning this language on your own and with a teacher is worlds apart.
I had to take a break. I need to consolidate my knowledge and build my vocabulary.
So currently we’re on 9-12 weeks for A1. I always hoped to join Goethe by April but seems that’s impossible right now. I’d rather make that sacrifice and build my self well than do the opposite. So see you in A2 in 5-8 weeks.

Before now it has been extremely difficult for doctors to go to germany via work Visa especially if you're not yet a consultant. But by March next year 2024 is expected to be smooth going. Thanks to the new skill immigration act.

Heard the opposite about consultants tho. Most have to go back to the start like the rest of us
I’m currently reading up on the changes and I’m not so sure how impactful the effect on doctors as regulated professionals. But we‘ll see what the implementation has in store for us by march 2024

New year new plans and everything’s gonna be right here. No WhatsApp or telegram groups….we move.

I intend to start learning German from January next year…A1-C1 in a year….so help me God 🙏🏿.
