Take consolation in that the LORD is GOD and he shall be exalted forever.Rest in God's peace, Deborah Samuel!donjahsy: AGONY OF DEBORAH YAKUBU
Our normal life but heated this time
Virtual argument it was
Free I thought I was
Not until they came
Like warriors of Spartacus
Yelling like spectators in a battle arena
With woods, planks and rocks
Never knew it was me they were coming for
I would run to the ends of earth
To the desert plain I would hide
Oh! Ignorant me
I was dragged like a cow into abattoir
Dramatic role I thought I was playing
I would rather tell the director I quit than the pay
Serious than I expected
Help me! Help me! Help me! I shouted, but my killers shadows caged my voice
Dad was far to hear my dying voice
Nobody held my hands for rescue
Saw little of people taking shots of me instead of pleading my case
Oh Alas! Divine intervention I prayed
"I am sorry" was last they could hear
Nothing came than I thought
Friends ran like cheetah for safety
Stone her! Stone her! Stone her!, My inner ear heard
The sharp pain on my head was like that of a fiery coal
Stones were melted on me like a cursed Jew
I lost my strength and energy to survive
My tears rained blood
Like a wounded leopard I fell
My breath I tried holding to survive
Stones were still melted on me like hailstone on Sodom
My body felt much to little pain
Then cold came, so cold that the pain vanished
Oh! I wish it was ordinary cold my blanket could heal
I knew consciousness was leaving me
I prayed for peace of mind
Yes, peace came as I slept peacefully!

During the journey, your driver will stop the bus at a place where you and every other passenger can get food and use the restroom. If you can, pack or buy your food or snacks before the journey for whenever you get hungry and may not have access to buying anything. Also, if you have a sensitive stomach, try to stay off food throughout the journey and drink water instead of soda. If you happen to eat, take only dry snacks that have little risk of upsetting your bowels. You can also go along with a drug like Flagyl or Imodium in the case of any unforeseen indigestion as these drugs can help put a stop to it in the absence of a proper restroom to help relieve you. Also, take along with you tissue paper for when you use the restroom and for any other necessary uses.
It’s important to have a sanitizer and a face mask for health and hygiene-related reasons. For security and safety reasons, always go along with some extra money beyond your t-fare so that in the case of any impromptu events, you are not left stranded. Also, always let someone know when you are traveling, where you are traveling to and any necessary details of your journey. This is way beyond Kaduna. The North as a whole needs to rethink the educational system. I just think most gov't don't take education serious as it ought to be. Kaduna state Gov't should take the bull by the horn and recruit competent teachers. The rest should be class assistants or should go back to school. |
