FreeStuffsNG: A house built with tissue of lies, bile, hatred and bigotry can never last. LP was a well admired party especially when it had a Governor in Ondo state but it was ruined when those political ' rolling stones' filled with hate, religious and tribal bigotry hijacked the party.
LP should send them all back to their PDP and APGA! Remind me again how many votes LP has ever gotten in a presidential election before Obi. Tinubu had to merge 2 mega parties before they won, but Obi polled more than 6M votes without any merger |

When Igbos arrived in Lagos, after a while, they were known to practise this system too.It is a good system if done honestly. I don't know about this "Igbo mina" people practicing apprenticeship. What the Gov has done quietly with water supply and infrastructure is commendable to say the least. No doubt, Enugu is positioning itself as an investor-friendly state. We keep watching and praying for good governance in other states, including my own Ogun State. God should bless us with one great Gov for 8yrs. No money to settle but Oga and family dey go vacation.
Well , only to igbo boys, you can’t try this madness to an Edo boy Out of 10 boys apprentices, only 1 might not turn out fine. The good thing about the system is at the end they'll be very grounded in the business, they'll get customers, on some occasions their oga will even open a shop for them. Which other form of education equips the students more than this? You guys will judge with just a few cases. 2 if my cousins who were apprentices are now big men. 1 of them even bought an entire plaza in port harcourt last year where he now sells phones |

Tinubu owns Acn. Buhari Owns Cpc. Both merged together to become Apc - that’s what’s called a merger, not people defecting & re-defecting..
Simply say Obi is going back to Pdp..
A hoe only jumps on & from from Preek to another.. Say this without crying. You folks are jittery because you know a merger is the end of the game for y'all. Remind me again the number of votes each candidate got during the last election. Even with Tinubu's bribes and antics, he won with less than 1M votes. Atiku + Obi + Kwankwaso's votes dwarfed tinubu's votes despite tinubu's rigging, now imagine how terribly tinubu will perform now that everybody is seeing shege in his tenure. |

They changed the names of their cities during the war and tried to dissociate themselves from the rest of the igboland to avoid the wrath of the Nigerian army This was port harcourt before the civil war

Politics › Re: Ohaneze Presidency: Ikwerre Group Backs Amaechi As NEC Affirms Rivers Turn by GetSenseNow: 8:23am On Dec 08, 2024 |
chrisxxx: This is what we ikwerres are saying. If you understand ikwerre don't you think you might have migrated from Ikwerre Land? If America despite their strength and size today understand English don't you think they migrated from the UK? My point is statehood is an artificial construct. There are no physical lines separating states, except on few occasions where there are natural boundaries. Even Buhari told us his brothers are in Niger (which is even an entirely different country). Ohaji is in Imo State while Ohaji Egbema is in Rivers State but these two communities have always been the same community before they were separated into States. A friend of mine from Yala LGA in Cross RIver told me her dad told her they migrated into Yala from Igboland, and I later found out Yala shares boundary with Ebonyi state so you see... The northerners fully understand this, it's we in the south who keep letting statehood and region divide us |

Eriokanmi: All na politics. When the chips are down, everybody knows where they belong.See tinubu claiming lagos for instance, knowing fully well he's from Iragbiji in Osun state. Now, he's using his presidential power to give back to his roots by citing a federal university of agriculture in his hometown. Though this has angered the indigenous people of lagos state as they're calling him traitor but that's what it is. He feels he doesn't need anything from them again as he's fulfilled his fuil potentials in life, using lagos wealth but that's not good enough. If I were him, I'd have cited that institution either in epe or ikorodu instead. The last week's meeting on lagos island which I also attended was so dramatic.
Forget wike and co, claiming they're not Igbo. They know where they all meet to speak the language. It's all politics. I only pity people who are dying for and supporting them. They're the worst loosers How are Amaechi and Wike not Igbo? According to you, the criteria for being Igbo is having your state of origin from the 5 SE states? |
