The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State on Thursday declared that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, can not defeat it in the forthcoming governorship and other elections in the state.

The State Chairman of the APC, Dr. Davies Ikanya, made this known in a statement. He said the PDP was only making noise all over as it will be defeated at the 2015 poll.

Ikanya in the statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Chief Chukwuemeka Eze, assured that the APC’ll win the governorship and presidential elections in the state.

“We have nothing to worry about because there is no visible opposition in the State. The PDP, which has been making a noise all over the place, is only blowing hot air and will be trounced at the poll next year.

“This assurance has become necessary due to enquiries by some political observers, who are expressing surprise that APC seems not to be doing much with regard to campaigns for the 2015 gubernatorial elections at a time when PDP aspirants have pasted their posters in many parts of the state, especially the capital city of Port Harcourt.



“Our party members and supporters should rest assured that all is well and that we Rivers APC is ever ready for the 2015 elections. The APC as a party is divinely positioned to win both the Rivers State governorship elections and the Presidency,” Ikanya said.

He also explained why APC aspirants have not been engaging in a poster with the PDP.

He said, “Not all APC governorship aspirants have been quiet.

“For instance, the posters of Hon. Engr. Victoria Nyeche and the billboards of Elder Chidi Wihioka are all over the town. We do not, however, consider this necessary in view of the fact that in APC, we are one cohesive, vibrant and united family, with Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as our leader.

“We encourage those interested to run for public office to consult and campaign among members of the family first to receive their blessings and once they succeed in this regard, they can then go out to educate the public about their aspirations.

I met dis old acquaintance of mine two weeks ago. I knew her abt eight years ago wen she was barely 11yrs old and I was 17yrs; she used to have a crush on me back then but I managed it pretty well. Now she's 19yrs and looking very palatable sotay my eye don dey chuck.

Now we've renewed our friedship and she comes around almost everyday. But I'm starting to feel a little bit uneasy, I mean she has little experience and would be so easy to hurt, me I am a veteran with predatory instincts and might end up hurting her. Now she spends at least 3hrs at my place everyday on so-called 'harmless' visits that sometimes extends till 9pm. I have been good enough to keep my hands off her luscious body but the temptation is getting way too much.

I like her very much; dere's this air of innocence around her that I am scared to defile, but she sef no wan gree listen. Should I just let her go and forget about her, or should I start nackn her "Akpako"? Please advise me cos I don't know what to do.
