The "older brother" is currently keeping the IRGC occupied so the french navy could focus it entire attention to the strait.

The real question we should be asking is if the IRGC can split its attention between US/Israel and France.

I think only Israel and USA see Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation (not my opinion, so please leave me alone, I have no opinion on this).
Also I think Iran fought against hamas in Syria, but I think they have a common ennemy in gaza.

Also, if I recollect well, Israel funded hamas, in order to create a counter power to "Palestinian authority" and stop the move towards 2 state solution.
CanadaOrBust:
Who do you think funds terroristic organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah?

USA doesn't produce weapons at the same pace as Russia.

honestly eeh, some commentators I really use to value their opinions just made me weak with their ridiculous takes on this Iran n USA war... If Russia haven't run out of missile how on earth do you expect US to run out of missile?
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 9:15pm On Mar 08
I'm Edo and also trained in martial arts (boxing), I've been avoiding fights outside the ring since I nearly got shot once by a coward and one time a 20 year old kid was acting tough with me, I told him we should fight because I don't do the talk tough thing, then he tried to set me up with his gang... These days, things are not the same 😅

Anyways, this was just anecdotal.

You got my point on the earlier "neighbour beat down" analogy, that is how the USA military thinks.
23jerryking:
That's not how I go about it, I'm a full blooded Igala boy 😂 and we have small pride. Na one-on-one sure pass.

If you want to beat up your neighbour, would you like a fair fight or a fight in which you are sure you would win ? 😅

Invite your entire family to join the beating down of your neighbour. That will guarantee your victory. 😎 Zun Glasses.

Why did they need up to such numbers to expel Iraqi forces from Kuwait? Are they really that weak or there's something else attached to it?
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 8:47pm On Mar 08
Iraqi military was starved for decades thanks to sanctions, it's only then that the USA and more than 30 of it's allies dared to attack.

If, you have only five bullets, chances are that you can't outgun rambo, but you can outgun me since I have zero bullets and zero guns.
sainttwist1:
I see your point, but don’t forget the US fought in Iraq and Afghanistan simultaneously for over 10 years and it never ran out of weapons

The US has participated in nearly every major conflict since WWII without running out of weapons

If you’re talking about Israel running out of weapons, that’s understandable, but I doubt the US would
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 8:37pm On Mar 08
Pakistan and India are wild cards, they are like moderate versions of turkey. They talk out of both sides of the mouth and they will stab you in the back while smiling to your front.
LordAdam16:
the new york times is now reporting that white house officials are saying trump may decide to end the war

iran should not accept any unilateral ceasefire

the strait of hormuz must remain closed until they lift sanctions and codify it in congress and the un

and any permanent end of the war must have security guarantees for intervention by russia, china, and pakistan

Trump doesn't seem to be smarter than his Nigerian supporters. I can remember having to educate these guys on why Iran is not Venezuela and America can't just defeat Iran in 3 days. Now I hope they understand.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 7:15pm On Mar 08
You see, the big differences between the USA and Russia start to show:

1. Russian defence productions are state managed, so profit doesn't undermine defence imperatives whereas in the usa, money making companies are in charge of defence productions and they don't care about defence imperatives, they only care about making as much money as possible, even if it means sacrificing the military might of the usa.

2. Russia has virtually all the ressources in house, the USA doesn't, and therefore needs to either buy them from third countries or invade those countries for the ressources. All these add costs.

3. Mass producing these weapons in the USA Will take years to train the adequate number of personnel and change the way defence companies operate (USA is too capitalistic for the companies to give up profit and focus on defending the country).

Mille:
That's part of the point Israel and US will never run out. Yeah, they can run low on some specific type but they can also ramp up wartime production.

The US has massive stockpiles, and these production companies will and can manufacture missiles massively if and when needed.

Surprisingly, Iran is dealing with the situation the best way possible. I didn't think they had it in them earlier.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 7:04pm On Mar 08
My friend is a mathematician, we don't produce weapons, we do theory.
23jerryking:
So for instance your friend also helped them produce the Negev 7 and the Tavor?
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 7:03pm On Mar 08
That kid doesn't know that when you reach my age, peer pressure has zero effects 😅
FoolishBoy419:
You're the one that needs to do some research. Even Israel-designed weapons like Arrow 3 are not produced in Israel. Yesterday, the US bypassed congress to sell 12000 dumb bombs to them. They can't mass-produce high end weapons
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 6:52pm On Mar 08
Israel is good at theoretical work, one of my mates in France had to go to Israel to work on great cardinals.
You don't need great resources to do theory.
23jerryking:
Why is Israel referred to as the "start-up nation"? Stop disgracing yourself like this na. Are you not bigger than this? At least try and pretend to be.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 6:49pm On Mar 08
USA doesn't produce that much.
It's private capitalistic companies which produce these products in the USA and they maximise profit to the detriment of defense imperatives.

Also:
Ghostagain:
Anything Israel claims it made has past through many countries via what is known as "chain of fabrication". If Israel is blockaded or faces sanctions, it won't have access to that chain of fabrication.

The atomic bomb Israel has, it's France which gave it to Israel. Every month France and many other European countries send military supplies to Israel, the USA does so as well, I think Australia and canada also do this. Yeah, "chain of fabrication".
llllllllllllllllllllllllllllll llllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Mille:
All these talks of USA, Iran, Israel running out of missiles or ammunition after two weeks make me laugh. When they are not corrupt and poorly managed countries like Nigeria

How anyone can believe countries who have been prepared for war for a very long time ever run out is baffling to me. Even small hamas in a tiny strip of land didn't run out and continued producing rockets under heavy bombardment talkmore of these countries who have large production hubs.

Did you ever ask yourself why all Israeli military aircrafts carry American names ?

Chain of fabrication because Ghost again said so. They are all on Google. But of course, Google will be a lie as long as it says something good about the ones you don't like.

Israel doesn't produce anything? Yet it exports around 60 billion dollars of goods annually. Na from your papa estate Dem dey get the 60 billion dollars?

All those important military techs used by intelligence arms of the government na your papa dey produce am abi?
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 6:27pm On Mar 08
Israel doesn't produce anything, it has a small land and no natural resources.
USA is too capitalistic, everything must cost millions in the USA.

Americans have a habit of measuring the amount they spend on their weapons rather than measuring the efficiency of their weapons and the production rates.
23jerryking:
So you're saying that one Iran outproduce both Israel and US. Well-done, but one thing with lies and propaganda is that it always finds a way of making the self-acclaimed storyteller look stupid.
