This is where the director got it wrong. if u could remember in season 1 Barry had the power to stop time. he could have just applied that power. do the clean up and then resume time.

Let's not forget that this series are just for pleasure and not real life scenarios.

Where's the fun and suspense in that, if he just stops time and do the do?
