atheism from my perception is a product of deepened research into science and the feel of pride that comes from inventions which is why atheist believes they are their own gods,a painter Michel Angelo painted a picture illustrating God's contact with man,I believe atheists altered the picture I made this discovery in a movie that I watched,any atheist who's not researched deeply into the world of science obviously joined the bandwagon

it's possible like I said it depends on how much trust he holds in his belief,he could change depending on the influence the college-if dominated by Christians- can have in his life,besides colleges are mostly dominated by atheist,that will be near impossible unless he's faced with a life-changing encounter.

since herd mentality is also present in atheism,yes it's a religion,it's your choice,which one you wanna follow,to me religion should' ve been a personal belief, people follow a particular religion because of the people that surrounds them e.g a child that grows up In a Christian home will go on to become an atheist when he departs to college because he will be surrounded by atheists unless he has a concrete belief
