The bolded: You are right, we all know one of the famous seminar pitches that got us starting forex right? which is leverage; they kind of lured us to believe that forex used to be for the big banks, hedge fund traders, etc, and that things have changed these days with the help of leverage. Then they pitch on by saying you can get a leverage of 1:1000, 1:3000, or even 1:5000 so you can trade your $100 as if you were trading with a capital of $500,000 (for a 1:5000 leverage = $100*5000), thus bringing you on the same playing platform with the big banks and so on and so forth.

What they delusionally lure people into forex with is telling them to focus on risk-reward ratio; my brother, Risk/Money management does not start from there. When you trade with a capital of $100, $1000, or even any capital with big leverage, you expose all your capital to the market, which is bad for the following:
1. In FX, Anything can happen. Have you read a line in your agreement/disclosure form that says stop-loss is not guaranteed? Yes, not guaranteed; a big gap can clear you out of the market with that kind of leverage even though you placed a SL.
2. It also tricks you by allowing you to use big lot sizes since you have a big available margin level (in %) reading about 4000%...this makes you forget home discipline

Finally - Always give room for your trade to breathe; but, by using big lot size because you have big leverage, as such a big margin level (in %) does not give your trades room to breathe. This will cause you to panic just by seeing 30pips against your entry and then a margin call, then a stop out.

In FX , I observed that it's better to follow your own instinct even if a professional tells you otherwise. but you can still seek for opinion sha... doesn't hurt.

Get a notebook and set questions for yourself with the mindset of "this kind of question can be asked by the lecturer".For example,you are reading organic chemistry and chapter 1 is ALCOHOL.
This is it what you will do.When you read Alcohol,remember they will be many subheadings in this topic.You can set questions for them like this,let say
1)what is the general formula of alcohol?
2)What is the functional group of alcohol?
3)What are the types of alcohol and explanation them?
4)How is alcohol prepared?
5)what are the physical and chemical properties of Alcohol?
If you check any organic chemistry textbook, you will surely see the answers to this question.As i say buy a notebook and write this question.
Also look in between lines of every paragraph.For example, primary alcohol have one carbon atom,so you can set question like
a)primary alcohol have how many carbon atom?
Now if you can get all this questions,it means you are ready for your exams.Now this is where there is little problem.
You said you don't like reading in the night but you can try and sacrifice time before you sleep,to go through this question again.
Now,if you can remember everything or atleast 65% the night before you sleep,you are doing well.That remaining35%,you did not remember,try to do through your note again.
Now,you will do what is called reading spaced repetition.Let say the next morning you can still remember 100% after going through them.You start the process of spaced repetition,don't read it day 2,go through it again the third day,if you get everything.You go through your note and the question you set again day 6 and you will see small small even if you did not open that note and questions you set for 1whole week,you will remember everything.
I am also a student in 200level,I wish I did this in year 1,I could have been on 4.5 and above but don't worry we will get through.
Also pray and avoid pornography because if you are an addict of porn,you will not be able to concentrate.You are reading something and instead of concentrating fully.You are seeing flashing images of girls with big ass and boobs.Pornography affects the brain.
