The cabinet must stop lying to Nigerians about President Yar’Adua’s illness
and face up to the reality that he is no longer able to perform his duties,
information minister Dora Akunyili bluntly admonished fellow ministers yesterday.

At the regular weekly meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation,
Mrs Akunyili stunned her colleagues by presenting a memo in which she
challenged them to tell Nigerians the truth about the president’s health and
stop deceiving the people.

ZAMFARA State government has recruited 1,767 Islamic clerics to pray
for the quick recovery of President Umaru Yar’Adua.

The state will spend about N17.6 million on the prayers as each of the
cleric will go home with N10,000 for the service rendered.

Represented by the state Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheik Tukur Sani Jangebe,
the governor remarked that the prayer session was necessary in view of
the present situation the country was passing through.

According to the governor, the health of the president was very important for the
survival of the country and, as such, he needed the prayers of Nigerians instead
of playing politics with his health.

The governor also directed the Islamic clerics to pray for the victims of the recent Jos mayhem.

Governor Shinkafi advised Muslim Ummah (community) to make good use of the
Islamic teachings that said Muslims should promote the culture of peaceful co-existence.

Today is my birthday 09 09 09 last ten years I celebrated 09 09 99 isnt that Amazing?

I don’t know how you feel on your birthdays, As for me, I feel extra-extra special, etra happy far beyond explanations, In short I think I feel special on my birthdays more than any other days including Christmas!
My birthdays are like New years to me, I write my new year’s resolution every 09-09. Even though I wasn’t able to accomplish 100% of my 20th  birthday plan of which I aimed at the Sun, landed at the clouds and eventually fell completely to the ground ”That is life for you” the more we live the more we learn.

I’d wanted to be a millionaire at 25 but that mission was not reached and I strongly believe Amma still gonna make it this year, If God is on my side.
WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE- As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. So let’s keep going, any time we fall down let’s try to pick something up!
