As music remains a prime world unifier, more talents continue to emerge in the African music space and each day, discoveries takes center stage. With so many music released yearly, Nigeria still holds a big place in the birth of so many well recognized songs in the world. With the likes of Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido leading the way, talented stars like Mr. Purplemusik is a worthy mention when the conversation arises for what the future holds for African music.

Godwin Isaac popularly known as Mr. Purplemusik is a Nigerian talent that has been making big moves and releasing songs that have been clinical in delivery standards. With his first single "For You" already a phenomenal track with a classic video shot in Ghana and produced by Na Mastergazy, the artist's second track "African Girl" came handy with the track grossing positive feedbacks from fans. "African Girl" was a collaborative effort that sees Mr. Purplemusik teaming up with Kelvyboy to create a masterpiece.

The Delta state music genius is on a new wave as he has teased and announced the coming of his latest body work which has been the anticipation of many of his fans. The track which it's titled has been revealed to be "Them Say" featuring Baseline Boil is expected to hit stores and music blogs in a short time from now. Snippets and more details about the song are expected to be made available on his social pages presently or eventual.

So while the wait continues, stay glued and follow up on all social media platforms to get more announcements first and accurately.

Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep ID Gyang has, in conjunction with Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara Speaker, House of Representatives, brought relief materials and medicare to victims of terror attacks taking refuge in ten (10) IDP camps in both Barikin Ladi & Riyom LGs of Plateau state.

The two day visit of Saturday 14th and Monday 16th July 2018 witnessed the provision of Medicare, Food and Sanitary items.

A team of Medical personnel volunteered to treat and administer drugs procured by Rep ID Gyang to both children and adults on ailments such as;

1. DIARRHEA
2. VOMITING
3. ANEMIA
4. INFECTIONS(respiratory track infection, pneumonia, typhoid fever, urinary track infection etc)
5. INTESTINAL WORMS
6. FEVER & PAIN
7. MULTIVITAMINS
8. SCABIES
9. MOSQUITO NETS
10.MALARIA PREVENTION
11. PEPTIC ULCER. Including pregnancy kits for pregnancy care.

Food, soaps, Vaseline and Sanitary items sourced through the intervention and assistance of Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara, Speaker, House of Representatives,were distributed to the IDPs in all the camps visited at
Rawuru, Gwakim, Kungte, Sangasa, Kworos, Gassa, Heipang, Ban, Geo Sciences Centre Bukuru, Riyom & Rahoss.

Rep ID Gyang again reirterated the need for government to speed up its promise to reclaim and return all lands under illegal occupation by killer herdsmen in Plateau state to resettle the ancestral owners just as is presently being done to lands recovered from Boko Haram occupation by the Military in the North East region.

He urge government, NGOs, well spirited individuals and organisations to continue to assist the IDPs.

The FG has approved the release of the sum of Ten Billion Naira (#10bn) to  rehabilitate, rebuild and secure communities destroyed by herdsmen attacks. The initiative also includes the recovery and return of occupied farmlands to the owners.

This decision came to light during Vice President Osinbajo's visit to IDP camps in Benue State on Tuesday 15/05/18.

The development aligns with earlier calls by Nigerians and members of the National Assembly especially those of us whose constituencies are hard hit by the attacks.
I have repeatedly through Motions and public statements made this same call and demand. The response of the President is positive and has been long awaited.

The next critical issue would be the implementation process, the success of which  requires constructive engagement and consultation with the relevant stakeholders in the affected states and communities.

In Plateau State for instance, Barkin Ladi and Riyom LGs, the very constituency which I represent  have more than 45 destroyed and displaced communities. This is in addition to the recent ugly killings and  displacements of Daffo in Bokkos LG and Miango in Bassa LG.

Given the massive devastation occasion by the attacks in Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba, Kogi, Southern Kaduna, Zamfara etc, the #10bn is a far cry in meeting the demand on ground.
To make for the desired impact, the initiative has to be expanded and sustained. Doing this will allay fears that the policy was a partisan devise to secure  a return bid and the needed votes for the President in the 2019 elections.

I am therefore urging Mr President to ensure an all inclusive implementation in  rebuilding the affected communities and recover all occupied farmlands across the affected states and in particular, communities in Plateau State that have been in the eye of the storm for over a decade.
