It is rare for an artist to boldly declare her intention to join lesbianism but fast-rising female Ghanaian musician Queen Haizel has said she would be happy to be one in future.
The outspoken singer in a tell-all conversation with Zionfelix.net made a profound statement that “I’m considering being a lesbian”. Giving reasons for her decision to be a lesbian, the ‘ekye’ singer revealed that her ex-boyfriends give her tough times when she enters a new relationship after their break up so she believes that will negatively affect her marriage when she finally meets the right man to settle down with.
According to the Afropop musician, her ex-boyfriends try to ruin her relationships because they regret leaving her, a move she believes lesbians do not engage in since they are afraid to let the world know about the illicit act.
Queen Haizel who lost her mum during the Atomic Gas explosion which happened on Saturday, October 7 in Accra further said when a lesbian approaches her and she finds the conditions and opportunities favorable, she will gladly say yes to join to be her partner. The songstress, however, did not tell when she would be ready to be a lesbian since she is currently in a relationship and would want to remain faithful to her partner.
Queen Haizel further admitted that the sexual and romantic desire between females is wrong but she wants to have an experience. The musician who is in her mid-20s disclosed that she has dated only three guys in her life.

Top Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has added her voice to the few Ghanaian celebrities who have voiced out against the abuse of tramadol, an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain.

The report in recent times suggests that abuse of the drug is ruining the lives of many young Ghanaians and that has gingered some celebrities to campaign against it. Gh One news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah and her team started the fight against the drug abuse months back which has received appraisal from many respectable personalities in the country.

Fancy Gadam, and few other Ghanaian entertainers also added their voices to the campaign against the drug abuse and the latest celebrity to join her colleagues is screen goddess, Felicity Ama Agyemang knew in showbiz as Nana Ama McBrown.

The actress has pleaded with the youth to desist from the misuse of the medicine. Speaking on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show with the host real name Adomako Felix, the TV presenter cum actress opined that she would not have been a superstar if she abused drugs when starting her career as an actress.

Mrs. Mensah further disclosed that she was surprised to be informed about the rate at which the youth has been abusing the drug in the past months.
After asking Ghanaians to desist from the abuse of the painkiller, McBrown also advised them to be careful with the friends they walk with since they are mostly influencing them to engage in this illicit act.
Tramadol is a pain relief drug, which according to medical experts, functions like heroin and can cause psychotic problems as well as damage vital organs in the human body if abused.

Recent surveys have shown that the drug is being abused by some youth, as well as some market women, drivers and in some cases students.
Findings have shown that Tramadol abuse has killed more people than heroin and cocaine.

Nigerian musician, Folarin Falana popularly known by his stage name Falz in a recent interview addressed his new song This is Nigeria, which has generated a lot of conversations on social media.
During the Beat FM’s Midday show with Toolz, the Soft Work crooner talked at length with the show’s host on the inner meanings of the song which is also a cover to Grammy award winner, Childish Gambino’s This is America.
In the interview, Falz claims that “…everybody is trying to act like its cool its really absord actually” an the issue of cyber crime.
Toolz asked his a lot of questions about cyber crimes, Fulani herdsmen and some other issues the song touches.
However, conversations started with the singer who years ago had publicly criticized for the first time cyber crime and internet fraud, popularly known locally as “Yahoo yahoo” saying that people who engage in this should not be celebrated.
Although the musician didn’t call out any artiste in particular, it was rumoured that he was referring to Living Things singer, 9ice.
9ice has since defended his song on Y’Naija’s Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu saying that he was referring to bitcoins and monitoring of bitcoins.
Critics at the time had called out Falz saying that he had no right to talk about the issue as his song Soft Work is rumoured to have been a celebration of “Yahoo Yahoo” and the “Yahoo Yahoo Boys”.
However, since his statement the musician has not gone back on his words, as he has kept on spreading the gospel that “Yahoo Yahoo” isn’t good enough for the Nigerian youths.
Here is an excerpt of what Falz said, during the interview: “That just went to show that Nigerians or maybe people in general… when there is a bitter truth that you hear, that and you feel like it has to do with you, you try to kill the messenger so that you miss the message and that is what they tried to do…”
“Its a horrible thing its really affecting us…”
