Stop packaging refurbished devices as Brand new

Once a device is more than 2 years old from manufacturing, It is not "Brand new" instead they're old devices already active and repackaged/ refurbished. A more suitable term is Open Box

Dont go waste excessive money getting an old device repackaged and then be shocked or surprised or complain about the faults it's giving. Most of those phones were manufactured more than 5 or 6 years ago and also been adequately used during that period before they got repackaged.

Not like repackaged devices are bad. They're meant to give you a premium feel of something new which users like myself prefer to getting just a plain used phone. But they are not "Brand New' devices.

If you want a brand new device then go for the latest models. But note if that latest model doesn't come with warranty and already active then it's a used device as well

Who has experienced this/ who can fix this on Google Pixel 7?

My microphone does not work for voice notes (all apps) and phone voice recorder.

Audio on video recording, calls (Whatsapp and all social media) all work fine. But for voice notes, voice commands and similar functions, it doesn't work. It records but no audio comes out.

It's common with many 7 pixel users
Check the microphone permissions
Make sure all affected Apps have 'Allow'
Clean the mic ports using a dry brush or using compressed air to bring out dirts

Then make sure you all apps are updated


If after this it persists then you bring the phone to our precision table for possible diagnosis
