​I am soliciting a favor from a good Samaritan here who might find it in their heart to help a neighbor whose phone just got spoiled beyond repair.
​All I am asking for is a show of kindness from anyone who is willing to gift or sell a spare smartphone they are currently not using, as my budget of 30k right now is too small to afford a brand-new phone.

Bought a used Samsung A14 last 2 weeks and since then my WhatsApp has been malfunctioning. All the numbers I've used on Whatsapp has been restricted. Please can anyone tell me what might be the issue..

The device was flagged by WhatsApp before . So any new number you put in it gets instantly restricted

Uninstall WhatsApp and re install from play store

Do a factory reset and update

The issue

The screen is not responsive. Not blank, not dark. It displays perfectly. But enter pin to unlock, screen unresponsive.. Nothing you cam do on the screen, it ddoesnt respond.

Fast reboot.

Was rebooted into recovery and to even select the option, no response by touch on screen or using volume key to scroll down, power button to confirm

Pls urgent solution.

The screen needs replacement since it doesn't touch .. the screen is available I've messaged you already ... Check your WhatsApp

That 2-minute cut on Redmi 10C is a very common MTN + Xiaomi issue. It's almost never the SIM. Try these in order — one of them will fix it:

Turn off Battery Saver for Phone
Go to *Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > App battery saver*
Find *Phone* app and set to *No restrictions*
Also: Settings > Battery > Top right 3 dots > Battery saver > Turn OFF call disconnection feature

Turn off VoLTE (fixes 90% of cases on MTN)
Go to *Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks > Select your MTN SIM*
Turn OFF *Use VoLTE* / *VoLTE calls*
Also turn OFF *VoWiFi calls* if you see it

Change Network Type
Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks > MTN SIM > Preferred network type
- Change from 5G/4G to *Prefer 4G only* or *Prefer 3G*. If MTN 4G is weak in your area, the phone keeps switching and drops the call

Clear Phone App Cache
Long press Phone (dialer) app > App info > Storage > Clear cache (NOT clear data)
Same for *Carrier Services* and *SIM Toolkit

Check Call Settings
Open Dialer > 3 dots top right > Settings > Advanced settings > Turn OFF *Call recording auto-disconnect*
- Also check Settings > Apps > Manage apps > Show all > Search "com.android.phone" > Unrestricted data and battery

Last resort:
- Dial `_#_#4636#_#_` > Phone information > Turn OFF VoLTE provisioned
- Update MIUI: Settings > About phone > MIUI version > Check for update
