light is not cheap in Nigeria not again. The issue is that they dont want to invest in distribution infrastructure and if they dont they can never make the money they are supposed to make. They started and saw that its a long term investment and stopped halfway. Let the trasmission infrastructure be upgraded too to reduce lose. There is no way out, any company that want to invest must come with their own money and see it as long-term investment rather than fast way to make money. If the distribution company invest money in distribution the idea of Nigerians dont pay for light will stop . It lack of investments from their own side that is making it easy for people to steal power. Come to think of it if they are not making money why are they not opting to invest to stop the leakage . Nigerians pay more than they use and this is the honest truth.
