Iran have become the second team to advance through qualifying to reach the 2018 World Cup finals after a 2-0 win over Uzbekistan in Tehran. Goals from Sardar Kazmoun and Mehdi Taremi earned a victory which secures the Iranians top spot in Asian qualifying group A with two games still to go. Led by former Manchester United assistant Carlos Queiroz, Iran booked their place in next year's finals alongside Brazil and hosts Russia. Kazmoun opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and then produced the cross from which Taremi sealed the victory in injury time. It marks the fifth time Iran have qualified for the World Cup finals and the first time they have achieved the feat twice in succession.

Africa will get nine slots in the proposed FIFA World Cup 48-team format billed to take in 2026. Six direct slots each will be awarded to CONCACAF and CONMEBOL, eight to the AFC and 16 to UEFA, while the OFC will receive one direct slot. The two remaining teams will be decided by a six nation play-off. The Bureau of the FIFA Council has recommended UEFA receive 16 slots in the new 48-team World Cup format, which starts from 2026, while proposing a six-team play-off to decide the final two places. The Bureau, which comprises FIFA president Gianni Infantino and the presidents of the six confederations, met in Zurich and agreed on the slot allocation for the expanded event. The decision will now be submitted to the FIFA Council for ratification in May. The proposed allocation includes automatic qualification for the host nation, with its slot taken from the quota of its confederation, while the play-off tournament for the two unallocated slots will feature one team per confederation – with the exception of UEFA. One additional team from the confederation of the host country will qualify for the play-off, and of the six teams involved two will be seeded based on the FIFA World Ranking. The seeded teams will play the winners of knock-out matches between the four unseeded teams to determine who will reach the World Cup. The play-off tournament will be held in the country hosting the main event with November 2025 suggested as the date for the first edition. I resigned from a job after two weeks in 2015. The job i was given was totally from what I applied for. Imagine being sad at work the whole day couple with the fact that I resume by 8am and close by 6pm officially but I end up closing 9pm. Imagine leaving home before 6am and getting home by 10:30pm everyday considering the massive traffic on the island(Lagos). When I told my bros that I was resigning, he said I must be mad but thank God I got another job two months after |
Stateside:I don't think it is fairly used. A fairly used car would not have ac problem, radio problem, cd problem, radiator overheating problem, battery problem. The seats are old, the interiors is old, and the car is making noise when on top speed |
kokoA:Engineering students write better than this |
Originalsly:funny enough, after we fought with him and a woman used her shoe to head him on the head, he got angry and threatened to cause an accident with the bus. We had to stylishly beg him |
otokx:I had to join hands in pushing the bus too |
more pix can you imagine, if their enemy have died, they will only pay 65k to the individual
|
ChemicalReaction:The guy is a very good driver, but the problem is that they gave him a bus not in good condition to test how he could manage the bus and also to minimize their loss incase an accident occur |

On Saturday 26th, November 2016, I planned on travelling to Lagos from PHC. Left my home before 6am, got to the park past 6am I usually take G.U.O anytime am traveling to Lagos from PHC but unfortunately G.U.O said they are not operating that day so I had to use another company. I saw different company but choose Cross Country because I thought they had good reputation but alas I was so wrong. The bus fare was 4k(some company said it is 3500). The bus was suppose to depart by 6:30am but we did not leave the park at waterlines until past 8. After getting to Bori camp bus stop, the manager called the driver that he should wait for 4 more passengers to join the bus. We waited for over 30 minutes on the road, when the four passengers came,no one apologized for wasting our time. At park they told us the bus is an AC bus but we later discovered that the AC is not working, the CD/DVD player is not working, the radio player is not working. The bus had radiator over heating problem, the radiator over heated 5 times (we had to be fetching water and pouring inside the radiator). The bus battery is bad, we had to push the bus several times anytime the driver stops the engine. We had flat tire on the road(the passengers helped him to change the tire). The customer care numbers on the ticket is not going through. The clutch is faulty The driver has never drove from PHC to Lagos before (The passengers were the one directing him on the route) We fought with the driver and later begged him when he threatened to cause an accident with the bus. When we got to sagamu, the driver started saying that he is on Training, and any driver on training is given a "bad" bus to drive for practicals and he drove corpers from Lagos to PHC few days ago. Nobody was able to sleep through out the journey because we were all scared that an accident will happen. We got to Lagos past 10. The driver's name is Laja. He said if he is successful in driving the bad bus to Lagos that it means he has passed the training and get employed by Cross country. My reason for writing all these is to bring to the cross country company notice that our life is too dear for using us to do training and practicals. |

We will surely win this time around |
I believe they will win their second match. Two wins from their remaining two games, and they will qualify from the group |
Nigeria U20 Women team was obliterated by their Japanese counterpart in their opening match at Brava Park, Port Moresby today at the on going Fifa U20 Women's World Cup going on in Papua New Guinea. The Falconets recorded their worst defeat ever in the history of the Fifa U20 Women's World Cup. Nigeria face Canada in their next game on November 16, while Japan play Spain at the Brava Park |
Nigeria begin her quest to win the 2016 Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup which gets underway on Sunday, November in Papua New Guinea. The Falconets are making their eighth appearance in the competition – and have reached the final twice but failed to lift the diadem. Coach Peter Dedevbo’s ladies, drawn in Group B alongside Spain, Japan and Canada are eyeing their first title ever. Nigeria is nine hours behind the Oceania nation and due to the difference in time zones, the match times are quite stroppy. And all the Falconets group games would be played in the morning. Find their match schedules below:

Doctoreee1:I wrote so that people will not fall victim of the scam. That is how to make Nigeria better |
I called the man and told him I will expose him |
I just received a text message as follows "Dear Customer, Due to our BVN System Upgrade, Your ATM CARD has just been de-activated, to re-activate, kindly call the Interswitch Customer Care 07065853407". The text message was sent from 07035294339. This is obviously a scam as the number that this message is sent to is a new number and I have not used it for any of my online transaction. I called the number and the respondent told me it is First Bank ATM, of which I don't have any First Bank account talk-less of having a First Bank ATM. A friend of mine also got same text message. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM ESPECIALLY WHEN NIGERIA IS HARD AT THIS TIME |
