The other day, I got into an unexpected “open your heart” session with a friend on a car ride into town. For some reason or the other, he let it all out. He went on and on about his wife and all her faults.

According to him, his wife of five years, does completely nothing other than watching soaps and doing her nails.

She does not make their bed or clean their bedroom; she does not wake up to prepare the kids for school; she does not cook, clean nor iron.

And the worst crime, according to him, was the fact that even serving food — prepared by the house help — is a problem, she whines and make him feel like he is asking too much from her.

He claimed the maid does everything. As such, he was very hurt by his wife’s lack of interest to do ‘wifely’ things in the house, and thus, he was thinking about getting a second one.

Apparently though, we have left the very dark ages and walked into bright and brave new modern world, men still prefer the ‘traditional’ wife.

My wife is a very wonderful woman. She believes in receiving her own call. She does not just want to hold microphone because her husband is a pastor.
Men of God need to take care of their children. My daughter studied Law she is doing her PhD in Harvard and she is coming back home to preach the gospel. She loves to preach.

Despite the resolve of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to continue with its strike action, the management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), has called on its students to resume school.

According to reports, normal academic activities are expected to begin in ESUT today in the first visible signs of disagreement within the academic body over the continuation of the 4 month old strike.

ASUU has issued a statement to the effect that it had nothing to do with the plan by the school’s authorities to resume business as usual in the school.

A 47 year-old man from Brazil has been found living with the skeleton of his best friend who died 13 years ago. Fabio Beraldo Rigol moved in to the cemetry after going broke and being abandoned by his family over his drug addiction.

The former broker only leaves to go into Santa Isabel, Brazil, to ask for food. He claims he found himself penniless and homeless after his business folded and he started using drugs.
