Gospel artiste Sammie Okposo and his pretty wife, Ozioma, are celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary today July 1st. They got married in Lagos in 2010. On his IG message, Sammie vowed to spend the rest of his life loving his wife. He wrote;

The campaign train of Njiko 2016 gallantly
stopped at the TradeFair Motel, ASPAMDA
Lagos, where distinguished Igbo chiefs from
different districts all over the world had
converged to deliberate on issues bordering on
the progress of the region. CharlyBoy the AreaFada, in the company of his
virgins, personal aides, protocol officers and the
press, was given a rousing welcome as he shook
hands with all in attendance.
After breaking kolanuts and exchanging
pleasantries, the chairman moved to welcome
AreaFada to the microphone to state his
mission.
In his characteristic charming manner and
delivery, Charlyboy dazzled his audience with a
witty presentation of what Njiko is all about and
the purpose it is to serve, stressing the need for
all Igbos home and abroad to support the
unifying event. Everyone present gave a rounding applause, after
which they all rose to pull their weight behind
the worthy cause by placing the Njiko sticker
over their mouths in endorsement.
It was a very good outing for all and sundry,
projecting the need for the unity and peace of
the people of Igboland.

Canada while actor Emeka Ike criticizes his
movies.
Afolayan is now a honorary white hat
member of the city of Calgary,Canada. He
was presented with the certificate on
Monday, 27 June, 2016 at an event in
Calgary, Canada.
The actor displayed his honourary certificate
and the white cap that goes along with the
title and captioned it:
“Yesterday I was warmly welcomed into the
City of Calgary as I was presented an
Honorary Calgarian certificate and the Chief
white hat. I am now a certified white hat
member of the city of Calgary Canada. I hope

Afolayan was in Canada as a keynote

magazine’s latest issue.
On the cover the media personality embraces a
goth look with black lipstick and a top bun. In the
magazine she talks about different matters of the
heart including giving someone that has cheated a
second chance, a married man having a female
best friend and more.
She also talks about the success of her vlogs and
where she sees herself in the next 5 years.
See excerpts below.
On second chances for someone who cheats:
Matters of the heart are tough, incredibly tough.
Cheating is bad; it is a cancer that eats you up; it
destroys everything. You see a confident woman
become a shadow of herself when she has been
cheated on. It is one of the most painful things,
ever and though some people make it work, it
definitely cannot be the same again. It is like a
broken mirror, the cracks will always be there but
in time, the scar can become beautiful and a
place only of reference, not a destination. People
can come back from it. If both parties are willing
and if the cheat understands what his or her
actions cost their partner. And of course, with the
grace of God, watching another person suffer for
the choice you selfishly made is so heart breaking
– that is what cheating does. People grow up,
people change [and] everyone deserves a second
chance as we ask God for forgiveness daily, but it
may not be with each other. Sometimes the
brokenness is irreparable and you can forgive
someone without being in their lives
On married men having a female best friend :
People say it is possible but I use myself as an
example. I have never had a male friend who
didn’t fancy me at some point. In as much as I
would love to say guys and girls can just be
friends, I don’t believe in it. It starts from
someone wanting more and maybe in the process
they then build a friendship that is more
important to both parties; they choose to develop
that. I feel that we are wired differently and I am
of the opinion that your partner should be your
best friend. God made Adam for Eve, and not Eva,
Evelyn and Everett…The moment your partner gets
comfortable having a best friend that is not you,
it is just leaving room for an unnecessary story.
Don’t get me wrong, he is allowed to have female
acquaintances and people he is friendly with, but
I don’t believe his best friend should be another
female. If she’s your best friend, what am I?
On being in love without physical attraction: I
have come to understand that love is beyond
what we think it is. In our generation, what we
define love to be can come across as superficial
and, in most cases, unrealistic. Love is friendship
that grows. It takes a lot of work to love
someone, even when they’re at their lowest; it’s
not for the faint-hearted. Love is a conscious
thought; it is constantly forgiving and looking
beyond flaws. So yes, I believe that attraction is
fleeting and it is possible to love someone that
you don’t desire physically. But as time passes,
love grows. A lot of our parent’s marriages were
arranged. In the past that happened a lot but
they somehow made it work. It is a selfless act
only for people who know that it’s not all a walk
in the park. Life happens. You might fall for
someone for their physical attributes, but then
what happens if there is an accident? If they
don’t look the same? If they stop being
attractive? Do you then move on? Attraction is a
blessing it’s an extra topping; not what defines
the cake.
On the success of her vlogs: The series was not
something I took seriously at first… I didn’t
realise it would be so successful. No one seems
to talk about the problems they have and I
wanted to be the friend in your head, to voice
what you normally wouldn’t. I wanted to connect
with people on a different level.
On her future in the next 5 years: I am working
towards being a global brand. I want my name to
have gained international status in 5 years. I am
also working on my own talk show, which I pray
will be huge. I want to have written a number of
lifestyle books and I am working on launching my
own label brands. I am laying the foundations of
all of these aspirations of mine now and I can
only pray towards achieving them all and more.

Model Olajumoke Orisaguna
The lucky mother of two children started
singing a new song early this year when she
photo bombed inspirational singer, T.Y
Bello’s photo shoot. A lot of gifts including a
5 year free stay in a 3 bedroom apartment,
from Sujimoto Construction Ltd., a modeling
contract, scholarship for her children up to
university level, several endorsements (from
Stanbic IBTC, Pay-porte, Shirley’s Bakery,
Biobak Restaurant) to mention a few have
been showered upon her
Speaking with Encomium Magazine,
Olajumoke’s mother, her mother-in-law, her
brother and her mentor spoke about her and
how she has been communicating with them.

Has anyone gone to see her in Lagos?
Yes, I visited her about two months ago.
Does she call you, send you money or gift
items?
Yes, and we call each other often. She
always sends money to me.
Do you know that she has moved to her new
apartment with her family?
Yes, I know. She always tells me about her
movements. Even when she started her new
school, I was told.
How do you feel about that?
I feel so great and I’m very happy that at
last she would further her education.
Would you say you miss her?
Yes and No. Reason for my no response is
that she is very okay where she is and we
communicate everyday.
What is your prayer for her?
My prayer for her is that God should continue
to be her guide, and she will never lack
anything good.
What is your advice for her?
My advice is that she should not change and
should continue to be godly, because
anybody that has God has everything.

Jumoke’s mother-in-law
Janet Orisaguna (Olajumoke’s mother-in-
law) said: “ I don’t have time to visit them in
Lagos but we talk on phone. There is no way
I would rent out their room or shop, since
they will still come to Iree once in a while for
one thing or the other. So, her room is still
very much intact and there is no plan to rent
it out. I am aware she moved to a new
apartment. She told me on phone. I miss her.
God should not separate them. God should
guide them as they go about their work.”

Jumoke’s brother
Abiodun Kamorudeen (Olajumoke’s brother)
said: “We talk on phone when she calls my
mom. When my mother visited her in Lagos,
she sent some things to me. I am missing
her because she was very kind to me when
she was around, but now that she is in
Lagos, I miss her a lot. I pray that God’s
protection will be on her and she should
continue to be successful .”

Jumoke’s mentor
Lawal Rasheedat (Olajumoke’s mentor) said:
“She calls me and I call her too. Even when
her mom visited her in Lagos, she called to
inform me about her mom’s visitation. She is
a nice and kind girl. She is of good behavior.
Why won’t I miss her? I miss her so much.
God should continue to protect and guide
them .”
