Karma came so fast for a Big Brother Naija Ninja carrying out Biggie's order of messing up the apartment.

While the housemates froze, the Big Brother Naija Ninjas littered the house with wastes including PET bottles which housemates' of the reality show were expected to clean up.

However while on the assignment, one of the Ninjas tripped and fell. The hilarious moment was captured in a video that has long gone viral on social media.

Olori Ajoke Adeyemi, who is one of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, is currently doing her compulsory one year National Youth Service after successfully graduating from a tertiary institution.

The queen shared a photo of herself fully clad in her NYSC uniform.

Benue Police Command on Monday recovered the corpse of a yet-to-be identified middle-aged woman in Nyiman area of Makurdi.

They also said that, contrary to some social media claims, the late woman wasn’t a victim of rape.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Catherine Anene, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Makurdi that the body was recovered in the earlier hours of Monday.

Anene explained that the cause of her death still remained unknown until an autopsy was conducted.


She dismissed speculations on the social media that the victim was raped to death, adding that the body had already been deposited at a mortuary.

NAN reports that the deceased was naked, which gave rise to speculation that she was raped to death.

The ‘Icon’ group of the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘pepper Dem’ won the week’s wager task, beating the Cruisetopia group in keenly contested the tasks on Thursday.

The story of how they did it:

The Icons include; Cindy, Elozonam, Enkay, Frodd, Ike, Khafi, Omashola, Sir Dee and Tacha while the Cruisetopia includes: Diane, Esther, Gedoni, Jackye, Joe, Mercy, Mike,Seyi and Venita.

Following their colourful coronation for their Tor Tiv on Wednesday, housemates were asked to come up with creative arts in any form to perform as part of the Wager task.

As is the usual Thursday practice, the winning team gets food and provision while the losing team will be denied of provisions for a week.

In this Task, every member of each team was required to participate, either individually or in a group or even both.

Also, unlike the previous tasks in which Biggie supplied the Housemates their props, the ‘Pepper Dem’ Gang were asked to creatively use available materials in the House.

‘The Icons’ opened the floor with a beautiful acrobatic display. Then Sir Dee, Elozonam, Frodd and Ike impressed fans with their chest-puffing and humming.

Afterwards, Khafi eloquently put up a spoken word performance about self-love. Then Elozonam performed flexible dance moves amidst a little dramatic performance.

‘Cruisetopia’ took the patriotic route as they stormed the stage with a national anthem while Seyi set the tone for the presentation.

Throughout their acts, Joe was seen in front of the stage drawing on a white cardboard. He eventually revealed a beautifully drawn coat of arms.

There were moving spoken words by Venita, songs by Esther and Jackye and Mike’s tap dance. Despite the little fall out between Seyi and Mike, the ‘Cruisetopia’ still did their best.

After the performance, Biggie asked each team to select a representative to defend their presentation and tell him why they deserved to win.

Enkay and Seyi came forward for both teams and each explained how they were able to incorporate in their presentations all the ingredients required by Biggie.

In the end, for their exceptional blend of comedy, drama, songs and a great deal of teamwork, Biggie declared the ‘Icons’, winner.

In addition to the provisions, each member of ‘The Icons’ was rewarded with 20 Bet9ja coins.

The Borno State government has donated some part of Sambisa forest for the controversial Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) program, Thisday reports.

According to governor of the state, Prof. Babagana Umara, the donation is to “encourage farming and herding activities across the state.” .

He also said that his government would deploy an Emergency Rapid Response Team (ERRT), comprising of security personnel, 500 troops and hunters that know the terrain of the forest, to protect commuters and rural dwellers against Boko Haram insurgents and bandits, .

He said: “This administration is determined to strengthen the security architecture to encourage farming and herding activities across the state. .

We’re also distributing 80 patrol vehicles to the response team so that farmers, herders and commuters could move as well as travel within a radius of 30-40 kilometres of Maiduguri metropolis.

About 75 trained agro rangers and 300 hunters will also be mobilised next week to enable farmers cultivate their farmlands that were prevented by terrorists’ activities. .

The state government is determined to address the root causes of insurgency through improved security; fight against drug abuse and enhance food security with increased job creation among unemployed youths.”

Paul Makonda, the Dar es Salaam regional commissioner, says he and the provincial top administration are mulling over an idea of publishing the identities of all married Tanzanian men to a website run by a State agency in a bid to stop deceitful married men from sexually preying on unsuspecting single women.

Makonda says the proposal, if adopted, will save many young women in Dar es Salaam from “unnecessary heartbreaks”. “I have received a lot of complaints from young women. .

Many women from Dar es Salaam region have been deceived many times, and they have had enough. Men have been promising to marry them, then later, they ditch the ladies. This is something that is humiliating,” Makonda said.

“These cunning men have left many women nursing heartbreaks and emotional bruises. You’ll find a young man successfully wooing a woman, making her leave every other thing that she does, hoping that the man will marry her, not knowing that he is, indeed, conning her.

If you look at the laws that we have in the country, there is a clause that protects women, who were promised marriages, only to be used and dumped. We want to use that clause to bring sanity in relationships.

I cannot say I am a leader, when the people I look after are hurting. One of the ideas that we have is to have all the married people register their marital statuses with the region’s database agency. .

Some African stars, including Didier Drogba, Asamoan Gyan and Nicholas Pepe, have reacted to the death of Ivorian artiste, Ange Didier Huon, aka DJ Arafat.

We had earlier reported that DJ Arafat was involved in a road accident in Abidjan.

Arafat died from injuries on Monday at the Polyclinique des Deux Plateaux in Abidjan.

His motorcycle crashed into a car driven by a Radio Côte d’Ivoire journalist.

“He was admitted to the emergency room in a vegetative state. He had a skull fracture and oedema,” a doctor from the institution told Jeune Afrique on condition of anonymity.

He added that the medical teams tried to revive him, but “in vain”.

“I’m at the clinic where DJ Arafat was admitted. I can confirm that the artist has passed away. I am with Minister of State Hamed Bakayoko to organize with the family,” said Maurice Bandaman, Ivorian Minister of Culture and Francophonie.

Born in 1986 in Yopougon, a town in western Abidjan, the artist liked to claim new nicknames from “Commander Zabra” to “Yorobo” – more recently, he even introduced himself as “Leader of People’s China”.
