While rapper Lil Baby was performing on stage in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday night, video from the concert was shared on Twitter after gunshots rang out from backstage.

One person was reportedly shot & The victim was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately known.



Birmingham police descended on the arena at the Crossplex shortly after 10 p.m. after a 1033 – which means officers need all possible assistance- was broadcast over the police radio.

It’s unknown what started the fight on stage which led to gunshots being fired inside. Multiple people screamed and dropped to the floor. Others ran out of the building.

Video from inside the venue was shared by concert-goers from multiple angles. One person tweeted, “Can’t even f***ing believe the @lilbaby4PF concert just got shot up. EVERYONE WHO WAS AT THE CONCERT HIT MY LINE NOW!!!! Cops got the entire place closed off and there’s no service.”

It appears that Lil Baby is okay. He updated his Instagram Live stories with a video of himself rapping in the backseat of a car while smoking a cigar.

Tyson Fury who appeared on ‘This Morning’ with his wife Paris Fury, opened up on his future plans to take on Anthony Joshua after his rematch with Deontay Wilder, and then retire from boxing.



“I’ve got two more fights left, then we’re going to really think about what we do from there,” he said.

“How long does a piece of string go on? I’m undefeated in 31 professional fights and this is my 12th year as a professional.

He said: “It’s almost an anti-climax. You elevate yourself in mind and body to go and box at his level and nothing means anything apart from the fight. Then you win and it’s like,

‘Oh well, I’ve done that’ and I slide down the other side. But I feel fine, I’ve learned over the years to maintain the mental health problems and to train on a daily basis and keep a routine.

“It takes me about two weeks to get back to normal after a massive fight.

“It is a rollercoaster of emotions, to be away from the kids and the school run and the screaming and shouting, it takes a lot to come back to that and get re-adjusted to that after three months away.

Judge Judy show set to end after 25 years, says host ‘Judy Sheindlin’.

American TV personality, Judge Judy, has announced that she is bringing her blockbuster first-run syndicated series “Judge_Judy” to an end after 25 years.

During her Monday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres, the 77-year-old told DeGeneres that the 2020-21 season of Judge_Judy will also be its last.

The Hollywood Reporter also confirmed that Judge Judy will end production after next season, which will be the show’s 25th season on the air.

Speaking about the ending of her show, Judy said:

“I’ve had a 25-year-long marriage with CBS [Television Distribution, which distributes the show], and it’s been successful,” she said. “Next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary, and CBS sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program.”

She further said:

“Because now they have 25 years of reruns. So what they decided to do was to sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns. But I’m not tired, so Judy Justice will be coming out a year later.”

DeGeneres asked where viewers will be able to watch the new show, Judy Sheindlin replied: “I can’t tell you yet.”

Explaining where fans of the show will be able to catch the judge in action, Judy said:

“Judge Judy, you’ll be able to see next year – a full year, all new shows… the following couple of years, you should be able to catch all the reruns that CBS has sold to the stations that are currently carrying Judge Judy , and Judy Justice will be going elsewhere. Isn’t that fun?”

Judy, who is currently the highest-paid personality on TV, bringing in $47 million (£36.6 million) a year signed a deal with CBS in 2017 in which the company bought the complete library to Judge Judy for a huge sum of $100 million (£77.8 million).

Shariah council dares Boko Haram leader to come out from hiding

The Supreme Council for Shar’ah in Nigeria have dared Boko Haram’s leader, Abubakar Shekau to come out from hiding and face the country’s military if he is courageous enough.

The Muslim group who reacted to a video clip in which Shekau confessed to killing a founding member of the Council, Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam (R) and also issued threats to another member of the Council who is also a serving minister Isa Pantami, reminded President Muhammadu Buhari of the campaign promise he made in 2015 to end Boko Haram insurgency.

Addressing a press conference on Monday February 17, SCSN Secretary General Nafi’u Baba Ahmad said;

“Few days ago, Nigerians were rudely shocked by the release of a video clip by the leader of the Boko Haram (BH), in which he confessed to the killing of a founding member of this Council, Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam (R) and issued threats to another member of the Council who is also a serving minister. The release of the video clip itself is a sad indication of the evident failure of the strategies and efforts of the government in tackling the BH insurgency in particular and the myriad of equally horrendous security threats bedeviling the country.

“The Council observed that in the early years of this administration, the insurgency has deescalated to the barest minimum, which was commendable, but of recent, due to obvious security lapses, the insurgents are gradually gaining grounds, which is a sad development.

“The Council viewed the threats expressed by Shekau are not only directed at the Hon. Minister specifically mentioned, but to the whole congregation of the Ulama’, to silence the voices of Da’awah and intimidate the Ulama’ as a whole. This has added another dimension to the challenge of tackling the security threat posed by the senseless deviant group, which has defied resolution, inspite of the oft repeated assurances by the government to end the insurgency.

“The very latest in this dreadful and unfortunate calamity happened just yesterday in Gwoza, where the Boko Haram bombed a mosque; all in the name of Islam.

“Accordingly, the Council has resolved that it is time to call off Shekau’s bluff by challenging him to come out of hiding, accept a muqaabalah (intellectual challenge) on their crooked aqeedah (religious ideology) with the rest of the Ulama’ (Muslim Scholars).

“Shekau should be bold enough to face the security forces, if he is truly the courageous leader of Boko Haram he claims to be.

“Shekau’s gleeful confession to the brutal murder of late Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam revealed his clear ignorance of the teachings of Islam, which he claims to champion. In Islam it is a meritorious act to die as a martyr; and there are perhaps only few examples, at least in recent history, that equals the martyrdom of Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam; who was killed in cold blood, reciting the shahada, while leading the fajr (early morning) prayers on a Friday.

“The Council wishes to call on the President and Commander in Chief of Nigerian Armed Forces to note the unequivocal confession by the Boko Haram leader on the gruesome murder of Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam in 2007 is not only a threat to Muslim communities and their scholars, but is equally a threat to the entire nation for extending his threat to a Minister and the President of Nigeria.

“President should recall his campaign promise which he reiterated in his May 2015 inaugural address, to act decisively to crush the Boko Haram insurgency and restore order, and to please listen to the shrill cries of the victims and the loud appeals and pleas by Nigerians to radically restructure the leadership of the security agencies, examine alternative approaches and options in resolving the current security challenges and call the service chiefs to account.

“The Council would also like to convey condolences to the Governors and peoples of Borno, Yobe, Kaduna and Katsina States, on the most recent horrendous loss of lives and property from the Boko Haram insurgents and their related bandits, at Auno, Gwoza, Birnin Gwari, Giwa and Batsari.”

14 US passengers test positive to Coronavirus after being evacuated from a Japanese cruise ship

Fourteen US citizens who were evacuated from a Japanese cruise ship that had been quarantined and recently flown back to the United States on charter flights have tested positive for novel coronavirus.

According to a joint statement from the US Departments of State and Health and Human Services, the passengers are among the more than 300 people removed from the Diamond Princess cruise ship.

US officials were notified that they had tested positive for coronavirus during the evacuation process after passengers had disembarked the ship, the agencies said in the joint statement Monday.

The passengers had been tested two to three days before the evacuation flights, the statement said.

“After consultation with HHS officials, including experts from the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, the State Department made the decision to allow the 14 individuals, who were in isolation, separated from other passengers, and continued to be asymptomatic, to remain on the aircraft to complete the evacuation process,” the agencies said.

The passengers who tested positive were isolated from the other passengers during the flights, the statement said. And all passengers are being “closely monitored” throughout the flight.

“Anywho become symptomatic will be moved to the specialized containment area, where they will be treated,” the statement said.

After the flights land, any passengers that developed symptoms on the flights and those who had already tested positive will be transported to “an appropriate location for continued isolation and care.”



The remaining passengers will remain under quarantine for 14 days.

Passengers arriving to Travis Air Force Base will be housed in the same facility as evacuees who arrived from Wuhan earlier this month, a spokesperson for the base told CNN. New evacuees will be kept in a separate area of the Westwind Inn on the base, the spokesperson said.

The Wuhan coronavirus death toll has reached 1,770, with more than 71,000 infected.
