ICaSNg: Irish visa issued in Nigeria is just for 3 months. It's a single entry visa cos you're required to apply for your Irish residence permit when you arrive in Ireland and this costs an additional fee of 300-350 euros Yes... But when you get to the dublin airport it will be extended for another 3months extra and within that 3month you are expected to process your residential permit which cost €300... Your best bet is when you enter Ireland download a app called GNIB... And you can't process the permit without opening a Bank account in Ireland, your medical insurance and a letter from school.... VERY IMPORTANT! |

ICaSNg: You're not entirely correct. Griffith collects a partial payment of 6000 euros. That's actually the minimum deposit you can make before applying for a study permit. Partial payment accepted for people who are not from Africa most times.... But I can confirm for you at the international office of Griffith this morning... |

moe0164: Hi. You guys are doing a terrific job on here. I'm Ibrahim and new on this forum. I'll be applying to U of Limerick for my LLM this year and need to get some facts right. Can I actually pay 6000 euros first as my programme is 12k and actually get the visa? an agent seems to think I must pay all else I'd be denied or my visa grant dragged till I pay. Has anyone actually gotten a visa with 6k payment as on the Irish immigration website ? Thanks If you are coming to Griffith College,.... U pay in full sir |

niyogeol: Your admission letter, health insurance, Pta, sometimes evidence that you have booked a temporary accommodation. I just chatted Mr Ciarán, Griffith regional marketer for africa Europe and Asia. He said the what they will require at the immigration point is just the international passport. And I think for those going to Griffith this January have gotten necessary info... Abt Dublin, transportation, accommodation, school map and co. Please the information was not to counter the previous post... Just passing info |

Noirdeblanc: good day, I want to ask if my maternal aunt can be my sponsor when applying for visa and what is the minimum balance that should be in her account for it to fly. Yes she can be your sponsor but make sure her sponsorship letter is very comprehensive I.e stating why she is sponsoring you and what she stand to gain since she is not your parent. The minimum account statement is EUR 7000 (#3.1m) but please don't do a lump deposit of cash oo.... Let the account read a steady flow of money.... |

cnonwnuwsp17: Please for those that have collected there Passport, when you submitted did VFS send you any email that your application has been dispatch? I didn't get any email or text msg.
Also it's been two weeks since my submission and I am still getting the update below on my profile. Is that the only update you get till you receive your passport? My previous applications via VFS, Canadian and SA I had four diff updates throughout the application period, from the application to collection 1. application received by VFS 2. application forwarded to the embassy 3. application receipt and processing 4. passport return
I was thinking I should be seeing the third update not the second.
Thanks That's the only update you will see |
