Please for those that have collected there Passport, when you submitted did VFS send you any email that your application has been dispatch? I didn't get any email or text msg.

Also it's been two weeks since my submission and I am still getting the update below on my profile. Is that the only update you get till you receive your passport? My previous applications via VFS, Canadian and SA I had four diff updates throughout the application period, from the application to collection
1. application received by VFS
2. application forwarded to the embassy
3. application receipt and processing
4. passport return

I was thinking I should be seeing the third update not the second.

Thanks

That's basically all you're going to see. No updates like other embassies. Just be patient.
My agent was also worried about this, so I wanted to ask same question when I got the vfs delivery man's call at my gate. So just be patient and hope for the best

Thanks a lot. So the passport would be sent to your address instead of picking it up from VFS?

I was referred to them too. Give them a call, they are super helpful. The lady guided me on what and what to do. Now I'm gathering my documents to apply for visa this week.

Their service is free of charge in case you're wondering.
please how much is their tuition? or is it scholarship?

Please am I required to print my own account statement? I will be using my dad's two bank statements.
Is a pension statement also advisable to be included?

I'll advise you use a single statement of account.

I'll advise you use a single statement of account. Make sure the balance in this account covers the balance of your tuition fees, living costs and enough to cover for your sponsor to cover for his expenses- this is logical.

I won't advise a pension statement unless it complements the balance on that account e.g don't use a statement of #100,000 monthly and show a balance of #8m. It does not add up.

Another thing is , don't dump huge amounts in any account you'll use .

Alright, thanks.

Tuition fee is EUR 12,500 .DBS has between EUR 1,000 and EUR 2,000 discount offers available for April and September intakes.

Surely first-come first-serve basis if you qualify . bearing in mind you need IELTS for DBS.

***We also offer free services. feel free to apply through us.

Cheers
Okay, thanks.

Hello Nairalanders, just want to start by saying congratulations to everyone on here that has gotten an Irish study visa and apologies in advance for the long enquiry.

This brings me to my question/questions. I have an MSc.Environmental Assessment & Management from a university in England UK. Returned to Nigeria and worked as an Environmental facilitator(enlightening the general public particularly schools on the need for environmental sustainability).

My course in the UK was more focused on the environment. Having worked with the public, I have decided to further pursue a course in Environmental Public Health or Environmental Occupational Safety, something in that line.

1. Does it matter if I do a Masters degree in the above area of interest, seeing that I already have an MSc. from the UK or is it advisable to do a PhD (not really keen on doing one to be honest)?

2. Would I be required to write the IELTS seeing that my previous education was from the UK?

Any professional leads or advice would be appreciated. Looking at a September start. Many thanks in advance!!! smiley
