Bro, in the book of Acts, one hallmark of being filled with the Spirit was evidence of Speaking in Tongues. Is for every Christian to experience.

Mark 16:17
"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues"

Here we can see Tongues as a Sign from Christ.

We also have Tongues as Prayer Language of the Spirit in I Corinthians 14

Still we have a gifting within a local assembly of Believers where
DIVERSITIES OF TONGUES is demonstrated alongside INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES.
1 Corinthians 12:27
"Now you are the body of Christ, and members in particular. "
1 Corinthians 12:28
"And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues."

We see from the above scriptures, that Tongues and Interpretation is an equipment within the Body of Christ like you have Apostles, Prophets, Pastors etc

This equipment tend to manifest with those. operating in prophetic ministry.

Gift of Speaking in Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues as a supernatural equipment within a local gathering of Believers.
1 Corinthians 12:28

Now in a gathering of Believers, Paul encouraged the gifts of tongues and interpretation of tongues. See First Corinthians14.

Then he went further admonish those who spoke in tongues to seek gift of interpretation because their fellow brethren were not being edified by these spontaneous messages in Tongues without interpretation.

BEFORE I go Further, let me say that all believers can seek to be a blessing to body of Christ via the Spiritual Gifts.

The gift of Prophecy according to 1 Corinthians 14:3
is "to edification, and exhortation, and comfort" men.

This is totally different from the ministry gift/office of the Prophet. In the office of the prophet we see him/her along with other ministry gifts in Ephesians 4:12
"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ".

Now prophecy in the Ministry gift of the Prophet is for forth telling, Foretelling and edification of believers.

Gift of Prophecy and Office of a Prophet.

Any believer can operate the gift of prophecy. You already know.

The office of a Prophet is like a bundled distributions of streams of the spirit.

In that "bundled distributions" you see manifestation of revelation and inspiration gifts as earlier outlined.


The way a gift will manifest through you is totally different from that of Brother Q.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Halleluyah.I am so happy for the GraCe God has given me to be able to comment today.Since when I started reading d testimonies about God's wondrous worKs in d lives of many people here I hv always been moved bt my probLem is dat I hv been battliN d habit of masturbation which has affected many areas of my life.in seriusly negative ways thereby causing unnecessary ffrustration,laziness,anger,weakness(physically nd spiritually)etc bt I believe dat God will deliver me frm those problems in Jesus name.

Look at Islam, immediately the Muslims enter any nation, or area, they go for the power and the economy of that place, and start dominating control things from there. The spirit of the under world at work.

Ezekiel 28:1

vs 2 ''Son of man, say to the prince of Tyrus, Thus said the Lord GOD; Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God''

Now Kindly jump to verses 11 and 12 with me

Ezekiel 28:11
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
vs 12 '' Son of man, take up a lamentation on the king of Tyrus, and say to him, Thus said the Lord GOD; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.''


1. Tyrus - is the Nation, is the Domain or Dominion

2. The Prince of Tyrus - Is a man, the King/Ruler in the Physical or Natural realm. he sat on the Throne.

3. The King of Tyrus - was the Principal agent of darkness controlling the affairs of that nation.

As clearly seen from the above, we believers can either pray for our nation and leaders as directed by Paul or we will continue to suffer consequences of not praying for them and taking dominion of the spiritual atmosphere over us.

First Timothy 2:1-4
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.


So, thrones and dominions go hand in hand behind every king, president, governor ruler is a spirit of God or devil

goodmorning brethren. Dis morning i have spiritual prescription for every born again child of God who is still struggling with demonic oppression and torment. D truth is dat demons understand their boundary and dey will do their best to keep u ignorant of it cos they know as long as d heir is still a child, he is not different from a servant. D spiritual realm is far above d kingdom of darkness. As a matter of fact if you do not put d realm of darkness in its rightful position, you can't make spiritual progress.
How scared of demons are you?
. For believers still afraid of demons, it is because you don't know who ur father is. You think demons are scary? please take a quick glance at the book of ezekiel chapter 1 and see how d Bible described Cherubims. In dat vision, ezekiel saw 4 Cherubims before d throne of God. Do you realize dat d devil is just one out of many Cherubims in glory? There are several Spirits far greater than the devil in Glory. D Bible tells us that the sit of the devil was at eden. The greater the level of Spirits, the more closer they are to the throne of God. Before the throne, there are the seven Spirits of God and then d 24 Elders, Seraphims, Cherubims (of higher class than satan) etc. Do you see how dis rubbished the devil.
Hierarchy of God's Creation
Dis are the hierarchy of things created
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Colossians 1:16 KJV
God still has all thrones and dominion on His side. D devil was able to get just 1/3 of principalities under his control.
My spiritual prescription for all who wanna leave d level of wrestling demons and move on to Sonship is to finish d whole chapter 1 of colossians. As a matter of fact just try and meditate on d whole of ephesians chapter 1-3 until it becomes a part of your spirit man wait for d demon to come, don't pray just stare at it, it will know you are past its hold and never come back.
The church needs to take our Right standing in God
Christians do you know dat the angels are supposed to learn about the wisdom of God from us. Dis is wat scripture says.
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

well, remember I said dis post was for believers so if you are one of those people who do not believe everything in the bible or u r involved in anything d Bible calls abomination i.e witchcraft, sorcery, necromancy, divination, contact with familiar spirits and involve in star gazing, palm reading, astrology etc, you need to b scared of demons cos dey will eventually kill u if u don't repent

Our salvation on calvary is described as SO GREAT in d book of Hebrew. Jesus paid it all and now we have boldness to approach the throne of grace. It really pains me wen I see humans (talkless of believers) suffer in d hand of the devil wen Jesus has paid it all

wat u are talking about is paradise. Wen Jesus died He went into paradise (Remember He told d thief on the cross that dey will b together in paradise dat night) there is no more paradise. Wen Jesus resurrected, He didn't resurrect alone, He rose up with saint who died before d era of Grace.

The mission of the devil is encapsulated in a 3-point agenda as stated in John 10:10 which is to steal, kill and destroy.

He uses various means to achieve these evil agenda. One of his tools is DECEPTION.

There are some deep spiritual stuffs o but personally, I will concern myself with those that are REALLY NECESSARY FOR MY WALK WITH GOD, SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND FULFILMENT OF DESTINY. I just want to please God and live for him.

@everybody The bottom line is this : The devil is REAL... His 3-point agenda is also real and will do just ANYTHING to achieve that. But more real is our authority in Christ... We are more than conquerors. Let us not fall for the deception of the devil and his minions.

Okay,
Something really bad happened in the time of Noah. Some Angels from Heaven took women as wives and had sexual intercourse with them, thereby tampering with God's genetic formula in mankind. The wives bore them children who were giants and these giants were so lawless that they corrupted mankind and did all sorts of atrocities against the earth. Man became very wicked and evil (Gen Chapt. 6). Then God decided to wash every pollution on the earth with a great flood that would kill everything; only Noah and his family were saved. I have talked about this on the thread, but i can't remember the page exactly.

These Giants are the children of the bad angels and they are the 'Demons'. the Angels who committed this great sin are the ones locked up in chains in darkness awaiting God's judgement day.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.


After the death of these giants, their spirits wander through the earth, they are cursed because they are not in God's plan at all, they are evil and have no place to go (remember Jesus talked on how a demon wanders about after it's cast out from a person; Matt 12 vs 45)

Demons badly need a body to render their evil activities very well, so they tend to possess humans.
Fallen angels do not need a body as they can come in different forms, because they're far more powerful, they are usually behind the scene.

Most people put demons and fallen angels in the same category but they are not the same at all.. Demons are like foot soldiers for Satan, Fallen angels are Principalities/Rulers (Col 1 vs 16; Ephesians 6vs 12). Fallen angels are the real bad dudes, demons are just kids..

But thank God we have power and authority over them all.


So when Jesus says that the end times will be exactly like the time of Noah, you can imagine how it would be.

thanks brother(gloriousera) but then all are given the gift of speaking in tongues by baptism of holy ghost and then for sake of personal edification and of the church.. (read 1 Corinthians 14)..the acts acts of apostles showed that a lot of all believe especially in chapter 2 spoke in tongues after they were prickled at heart. by Peter message in Jerusalem, I also think interpretation or prophecy or even both are important to the church, how can a Christian claim his testimony fully among brethrens without this gift.. a pastor with gift of wisdom and knowledge explained all from 1 Corinthians chapter12-14 but I want to ask OP and other Christians of What the Holy tells them about this verses?? thank you very much,
