A beta version of a classified ads site for Nigerian campuses...Built from scratch. I developed this since april but too many academic engagements I haven't been able to follow it up, finally launched it. So here it is:

GO AND DIE; THE CASE AGAINST ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE

In as much as I totally agree with my senior
comrade and leader, Obe Rasaq that "We can't allow
madness to continue on our roads and streets." I want to state as is evident from the video that has gone viral that the alleged widow in the Adams Oshiomhole's 'Go and Die' saga was not selling on the walkway and to those who feel he has done marvelously well by tendering an immediate apology, we must under study the motive of his apology and ask why it took him this long? because saying "am sorry" without sincerity is totally meaningless. Let me first and foremost emphatically state that Oshiomhole's apology wasn't immediate, that incident occurred last week and the Gov. only after seeing the media attention the issue was gaining and in a bid to salvage his political image quickly mention yesterday that he made the remarks out of anger.

As an indegene of Edo State residing in Benin City, I
can confidently say that the governor since the
inception of his second term, has been ruthless and
completely intoxicated by power, his lack of oral
diplomacy ended the proposed nat. confab's south-
south summit in a brawl, he doled out a 100million

hasn't been 'crucial' to the sustenance of our
democracy? Is it the poor widows on the streets of Edo or the Edo State students who have been totally neglected by his administration? I make bold to say there is no grant, bursary or scholarship for Edo students anywhere even if your C.G.P.A is 5.0
sponsored by the Adam Oshiomhole's administration, yet he appointed 3 comedians as special advisers (Maleke, Pikolo and FS) and 20 market women to the board of various parastatal, imagine a market woman as member of Post Basic Education Board? What does she bring to the table? But I learnt early enough to expect such from a man who went to court to defend the legitimacy of his primary 6 certificate after the last gubernatorial elections. Education is beyond reading
and writing, it instills in men the character and
diplomacy required for leadership. An educated man will never say "Go and Die" even in anger, that
statement is too shallow and should be reserved for the motor parks.

Lastly, let me stress here that even while there is a
park just at the beginning of that road you saw in the video, it is only for the state owned public buses which refuses passenger entry if you have much luggage like that woman's because they intend to make money from standing passengers so there is usually no space for any extra luggage. The regular commercial buses who are ready to carry an aircraft on top so long the price is right, load right in front of where that women was standing. If you go there today to independently verify, you will find them in tens this is of course after 'settling' the Oshiomhole police, EDWS and tons of state officials deployed to ensure this doesn't happen and instead of the Governor to be mad at his inept officials who were hurriedly recruited without training and most of whom are thugs and stooge of political office holders, he decided to vent his fury on a poor
widow who is caught in between in an egregious and shameless manner. Though he claimed all the traffic workers assigned to that area were automatically dismissed because of the breakdown of order he witnessed, they were all back the next day and uptil now they are there, while the widow whom God alone knows how she raised the money to procure those goods, goes home as the loser to lament in solitude.

A few side questions for Gov. Adams Oshiomhole :
What has happened to the over 25billion naira he
borrowed for the Benin water storm project? As till date Benin residents are nervous whenever the cloud darkens.

What was the essence of hosting Dillish the big brother africa winner with Edo State tax payer's money? Maybe she is also crucial to the sustenance of our democracy.

Why did he lie to Edo people and the world that the
opposition PDP connived with the police to rig the last Esan North East election when in truth it was his party that did, with the support of the state's electoral commission EDSIEC? Where does Edo State's share of the Subsidy
Reinvestment Programme SURE-P funds go to?

Where are the taxis he promised Benin residents to
help resettle most of the okada riders after the ban and also cushion the challenge of transportation in the state?

How much is he paying for 1km of road in Edo State? It has been alleged that it is the costliest in west africa, let him refute this or tell us why its that expensive.

Why has he deliberately abandoned stated owned
companies like Auchi Fertiliser Company and Ehor Fruit Juice Company just to make a political statement against his predecessor (Lucky Igbinedion) and why is Bendel Breweries in a state of comatose and her workers left unpaid for almost 10months?

On the day the court of appeal delivered judgment in his favour, he immediately banned the sales of tickets on our roads and highways, why have they suddenly returned?

Adams Oshiomhole must keep in mind that he is not an eternal excellency like the bible promised in Isaiah 60:15 to make the righteous, but only occupying a
temporal position and must learn not to display such raging impunity whether in public or private.

I read your comment before and decided to intentionally ignore it. There is no doubt you're being eaten up by the fury of frustration obviously as a result of being turned down by the prestigious University of Benin. A few questions for you; whose prerogative do you think it is to setup governing council for a university? The V.C you think? Are you not aware that the governing council of federal universities were all dissolved by the president and only reconstituted this year including that of OAU you mentioned? You are not an OAU student, infact you've not met the O'Level requirement for university admission yet and rather than listen and learn you comment on issues that are beyond your comprehension. There are 3levels of clearance in UNIBEN, 100,300 & final year outside the fact that there is an electronic portal that holds the details of every student legitimately admitted into the institution. Those who have fake admission know their admission is a fake they just choose to keep on believing a miracle awaits them at the end of the tunnel. Lastly, UNIBEN should be commended for not just making this an inhouse thing, corruption shouldn't just be punished, it should be exposed and that is what the Great Uniben has done.

Long live Uniben, Long live Nigeria!

Acidosis: Now that it involves covenant university, I expect some sects to come here and pour out their inherited jealousy once again on private universities... NOT forgetting the fact that these things happen everyday, everywhere, and in all schools in Nigeria.

Infact, I can name and publish the names of 25 lecturers & course advisers who bought their first cars from students' money (paid for "blocking) in a single school (public university) LOL!

I can name 25 lecturers who altered the scores of female students after sleeping with them in a single school. LOL!

Just recently a vice chancelor of a state university altered the score of a 300L Medical student in a pharmacology course from 49 to 50, and he even defended himself!

Its happening everywhere!
How about the scores of graduates writing interviews in top government ministries? Lmao!

How about those Lecturers who help their wards to gain admission even when they don't merit certain courses? LOL!

In as much as I despise these acts, I'm saying all these to WARN those angry mo. fos who might later come on the thread to alter gibberish about "Private universities".

The fact that the lady was suspended is enough reason to respect the authority of covenant university!
Kudos to the management and the academic team!

Well, the church may suspend him for such disgraceful lifestyle but that has nothing to do with his academic/career life. Its a matter of choice...

...atleast he is far far better than his colleagues in our state and federal schools forcing their female students to bed.

You obviously are one of the sons of "PAPA" coming quickly to the defence of the school though hiding under the aegis of private unis in general. The points you have enumerated above still does not justify this barbaric act considering the fact that this same woman after the 2011 general elections made a plea to the INEC chairman to please engage V.Cs of private univerisities like herself in the conduct of subsequent elections. Who knows maybe if she had been appointed as a REC in 2011 with her superb manipulative abilities (3rd class to 2.1) maybe Buhari would have won!
