SportsPremier League Managers The Most Successful In Europe by goalisma(op): 12:30pm On Aug 11, 2016
Premier League managers have won far more trophies than their counterparts in Europe's other top divisions, according to a Sky Sports study.

The upcoming 2016/17 season is set to be one of the most fascinating and unpredictable yet - thanks in part to the hugely successful managers now in charge of some of England's leading clubs.

For instance, new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho and his rival, Manchester City's Pep Guardiola, boast a remarkable 18 major honours each, while Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has collected 12 trophies during his career.
In total, the 19 men currently in charge of Premier League clubs - while the permanent Hull City job is vacant - have won 66 trophies.

In comparison, managers in La Liga - home to the second-most decorated group of managers in Europe's top five leagues - have 38 major honours between them.
Bosses in the Bundesliga (19 trophies - 14 belonging to Bayern Munich's Carlo Ancelotti), Serie A (17) and France's Ligue 1 (12) have fewer honours combined than managers in England, although it is worth noting there are only 18 clubs and managers in Germany's top flight.
In the Premier League, 10 managers have won a major trophy which is the highest spread of successful managers across the five leagues.
Nine La Liga managers have been victorious in a major competition and seven Ligue 1 coaches have won at least one trophy. However, just four managers in the Bundesliga and four in Serie A have tasted success.
Behind Guardiola and Mourinho, Bayern's Ancelotti is the second-most successful boss (14), followed by Wenger (12) - the only other manager in double figures.

SportsNFF, Gernot Rohr Seal Two-year Contract by goalisma(op): 2:17am On Aug 10, 2016
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Mr. Gernot Rohr have signed a two-year contract that will see the former Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso coach work as Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.
The simple ceremony at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja saw NFF President Amaju Pinnick and General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi signing on behalf of the Nigeria federation, in-between Mr. Rohr’s own signature.
Pinnick said that the agreement was for two years, with the former German defender, who also coached top French club Girondins Bordeaux and elite Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel, handed a target of qualifying the Super Eagles for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.
“We are happy that this has been sealed and we can now focus on other arrangements for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers starting in October,” said Pinnick.
Rohr, clad in a simple shirt and jean trouser and wearing a smile, said: “I am enthusiastic to get to work. This is a big challenge because Nigeria has big players everywhere and has the ability to do well internationally.
“I have a German heart – the heart of a winner. I have confidence that with the right atmosphere and the right support, the Super Eagles have the capacity not only to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, but get to the latter stages of the competition.”
Rohr, 63, will step out with the Super Eagles for the first time when Nigeria host Tanzania in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Port Harcourt in a few weeks.
Although the match is a dead rubber as both teams are out of the running for the tournament, it serves as a test game for the Eagles ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier away to Zambia on October 3. Nigeria will also play Cameroun and Algeria in the qualifying race.
Rohr is scheduled to embark on VIP scouting immediately, which includes flying to Spain to watch the NPFL All-Stars play against Atletico Madrid and Malaga in Cadiz on Friday, in the Trofoe Carranza Tournament.

SportsCarragher Backs Pogba For Successfulmanchester United Return by goalisma(op): 2:09am On Aug 10, 2016
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher insists new Manchester
United signing Paul Pogba will prove to be good value for money
despite his record-breaking price tag, Metro has reported. United completed a deal worth around £90 million for the France
international on Tuesday in a world record transfer that has generated
plenty of debate, but the Sky Sports pundit believes it could prove good business for the Red Devils.

According to Metro , Carragher insisted: "He will be worth it if he plays
well It looks expensive and it is expensive."
The sizeable price tag has been enhanced further by the fact that he
initially left United for just £800,000 four years ago.

But Carragher believes that fans across England should be
enthusiastic about the prospect of seeing the 23-year-old back in the
Premier League, although he could not hide his disappointment at seeing him head back to Liverpool's arch-rivals.
"We should be pleased that he is coming to the Premier League. We have been moaning that Barcelona and Real Madrid take the best players from our league.

"We have got one of the world’s best. Unfortunately he’s at
Manchester United," Carragher added.
Pogba joins a United side that is likely to attract plenty of expectation this season, particularly with the arrivals of Henrikh Mkhitaryan andZlatan Ibrahimovic earlier in the summer.

SportsJuventus Vs Roma Betting Tips by goalisma(op): 1:07pm On Jan 24, 2016
Juventus will play Roma in the Italian Seria A. Of course someday, the winning streak of the old ladies will come to an end someday but I don't think its gonna be today as they ve got a lot at stake. Its a high profile game so If there is one thing I know they would like to put in a good performance to show that those results were very much merited. They are coming from a 0-1 win over Lazio in the Coppa italia. A game in which some of their key players were rested so their squad will be fit for this clash. Mandzukic and Dybala leading the line once again. They have no big miss here.

Roma on the other hand have been struggling recently. Only 1 win in 11 games in all competitions which led to the sack of their manager and appointment of another. They did not start well with him either as they were held to a 1-1 draw in their last game by bottom placed Hellas Verona. They have a lengthy injury list as Gervinho, Maicon, ponce, Ucan, Capradossi are all injured here.

I think Juve will be too good for Roma today considering their current form. It ended 2-1 in favour of Roma in their last game. But I think Juve will now turn it around and get all 3 points covering our handicap. GL!

SportsHamilton Vs Hearts Betting Tips by goalisma(op): 12:53pm On Jan 24, 2016
Hamilton on away side is not so different from home side.

They had 4 away fixtures and 2 of them were disasters. They lost cup fixture vs Annan 4-1 when Annan is like 4th place in League Two, and to Celtic 8-1.

Good results could be 3-3 away with Motherwell, but MOT god some issues since 2 years ago.

On home side, Hamilton lost against Inverness 3-4 or Kilmarnock 1-3. Other results were the loses against Ross County 1-3 or 2-4 St. Johnstone.

Hearts on the other side, got better stats than many teams here in Premiership.

They are coming after smashing Motherwell 6-0 on home side or Euro League representant Aberdeen 1-0.

They had a 2-2 against Kilmarnock on away side. That's why I will pick to see goals.

SportsAtletico Madrid Vs Sevilla Betting Tips by goalisma(op): 12:45pm On Jan 24, 2016
Atletico de Madrid and Sevilla face in the capital of spain in the best game of the 21st round of La Liga.

Atletico is in great form latelly with 4 wins in a row in their last 4 matches in the league, and with only 1 lost in their last 20 matches.

Diego Simeone's team is currenlty in the second spot of the league, and with a win they steal the first place from Barcelona. At home they have 7 wins in 9 matches, with the best defensive record with only 5 goals conceded until this round in the competition.

Only Tiago is out for this game.

Sevilla, in the other hand, is improving after a terrible start of season. They are currently in the 7th place of the table, but they are one of the worst teams in the league, when they play far from Sevilla, without any away win this season.

I believe that Sevilla won't be able to stop Atletico in this match. They are one of the best teams in the country, and at home they are even better.

SportsThe Epic Battle Of The North West. by goalisma(op): 8:29pm On Jan 16, 2016
The German juggernaut lines up his Liverpool side against the experienced Dutch tactician for the first time in the hotly contested, fierce North-West Derby. Simply put, this is the El Clasico of the English Premiership. No team has more prestige, class or trophies than these two combined. And no team hates the other just like Manchester United hates Liverpool. Coincidentally, Jurgen Klopp and Luis Van Gaal have faced off in four heated contests in the Bundesliga, with both managers enjoying two wins each. Bringing their rivalry to England will be a joy to watch.

With Liverpool still battling injuries in key departments, it really should be a walk over for Manchester United seeing as they've done so in their last three games against Liverpool. Old Trafford was treated to a scintillating brand of football as French prodigy, Anthony Martial made his debut one to remember when he announced himself to the big stage with a fine solo run and a cracking finish while Christian Benteke's sublime overhead kick is one of the Goals of the Season contenders. But under Klopp, Liverpool have shown they're a force to reckon with in big games. Their only problem is their consistency, especially when battling against physical teams. But trust Liverpool to up their games against their biggest rivals in England. It doesn't get any better than this.

Manchester United will hope to do the double over Liverpool for two consecutive seasons, but what plans does Klopp have up his sleeves? Will this be the game of the season? Will this be the final nail on Van Gaal's coffin? Will this be the game in which Klopp etches his name into the hearts of the fans?

Predictable Line-Up: Liverpool (4-2-3-1); Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Lucas, Milner, Can, Lallana, Firmino.

Manchester United (4-2-3-1); De Gea, Blind, Jones, Smalling, Darmian, Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Martial, Herrera, Mata, Rooney.

Goalisma Prediction: Despite winning the first battle this season, Klopp's ability to galvanize his side against big teams could again prove to be the masterstroke. Liverpool 3-1 Manchester United.

SportsBlind: You Can Feel The Rivalry At Anfield by goalisma(op): 9:33am On Jan 16, 2016
Manchester United's Dutch star Daley Blind tackles MUTV's questions on Sunday's showdown between the two most successful clubs in English football...
In your short time at the club so far, have you come to know how important Liverpool v United is to the fans?
"Yes, I know the history of both clubs, I know the second team better of course, but I know they are both clubs with big history and have a big rivalry. These games always mean more to the fans and of course the players on the pitch."
What was it like to play for United at Anfield for the first time in March?
"As a player you want to be involved in these games. Playing at Old Trafford is a dream come true, but to go to Anfield and feel the rivalry in the stands was amazing. As a player you feel the pressure because these games give you something special. It’s games like these that make you want to be a footballer. In English football it’s great that many stadiums have stands so close to the pitch, so you can really feel the atmosphere. Anfield is one of those stadiums where, against United, everything has a bit extra. It’s a great feeling."

Was celebrating Juan Mata's second-half goal in front of the away fans a special moment?"Yes, it's a wonderful memory. When you score a goal like that it’s great both personally, in Juan’s case, and as a team to go to the fans and cheer. It’s a great feeling to win there and I’m happy I experienced it, but I want to experience it again."
You've also scored against Liverpool, in the home game earlier this season, so that must have been great for you too..."As I have said, the games at Old Trafford are special, week after week. When Liverpool come you feel the atmosphere, the rivalry and the tension in the game. To score a goal was an amazing feeling."
You mention the atmosphere and the tension, so is there something that's different about these fixtures?
"I think in these games you go on the pitch and already in your head you have played the game many times and you know what special feeling it has when you walk on the pitch. Each game in the Premier League has some specialities; every ground has its own story, but United versus Liverpool brings something special."
Jurgen Klopp is well known for his high-tempo pressing game. Is that something you have to plan for?"Yes, of course, we always have to look at our opponents. Everybody knows Klopp from his time at Dortmund where he did very well and they played good football. We have to prepare ourselves our utmost best and go from our own qualities and play the game from there."

Could a victory at Anfield provide the team with a big boost for the games ahead?
"Yes, we have a lot of important games coming up. Everything is so close in the table; we are only nine points off the top. You have to win games to keep it up and look forward."

SportsNewcastle Vs West Ham Betting Tips by goalisma(op): 9:25am On Jan 16, 2016
After a run of four straight 1:0 defeats in all competitions, Newcastle United actually bounced back with quite a decent performance against Manchester United helding the visitors to a 3:3 draw on Tuesday night. For sure that the players of Manchester are completely out of form, but still the result is more than positive for the players of Newcaslte who will obviously have quite a tough time staying outside of the relegation battle this season.

Visitors made a great start into the match, taking a 2:0 lead via Rooney in 9th and Lingard in 38th minute, however it looked like they stopped playing seriously from that moment on. Wijnaldum reduced the deficit in 42nd minute, while Mitrovic leveled up the score in 67th with Rooney re-installing the lead for the visitors in 79th, who started playing again from the moment they got equalized. Still, with many ups and downs in their performance, it was impossible for them to keep the lead and the hosts equalized in last moments of the match via Dummett. Newcaslte still has a plenty of injured players since they can’t count at striker Papiss Demba Cisse (13/2), left full backs Vurnon Anita (18/0) and Massadio Haidara (7/0), offensive midfielder Gabriel Obertan (5/1), central defender Steven Taylor (2/0), goalkeeper Tim Krul (8/0) and couple of others. Doubtful for this game remain: defender Kevin Mbabu, midfielders Rolando Aarons, Florian Thauvin and forward Emmanuel Riviere are all doubts for the home side. Mitrovic looks almost sure in 4-2-3-1 formation after his good game against Manchester United.

West Ham, on the other side, continued with good performances last Wednesday evening, when the team secured their fourth straight victory in all competitions, winning 3:1 on the road against Bournemouth. With this victory, they came to fifth position and are now only one point below the Champions League ticket placed Tottenham and will surely be aiming here for all three points.

At the same time, it was eight match in a row that the players of West Ham didn’t lose in Premier League, as they being in a bit more passive mode than they should and conceded the first goal in seventeenth minute via Arter. Everything came to it’s place in the second halftime when the players of West Ham showed much more creativity in the midfield and were able to claim all three points thanks to three goals in last twenty-five minutes of the game – via Payet in 67 and Valencia in 75th and 84th minute. Visitors should also be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation with Jelavic upfront. They will miss injured offensive midfielder Manuel Lanzini (14/4) and forward Diafra Sakho (12/3). Striker Andy Carrol (13/3) sustained a hamstring injury in previous game and will sit out this one. Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate is back in the starting lineup having missed the previous game with a groin problem.

West Ham have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 matches against Newcastle.
West Ham have won their last 3 matches in the Premier League.
Newcastle will go into this one with a boosted morale after a last minute equalizer against United, however it’s hard to see them performing that well in consecutive games. West Ham is now also coming with a boosted morale, being in a search for the Champions League ticket after the recent victory and I surely see them as favorites here. Draw can’t be excluded, but I see the visiting side as a closer one to get all three points.

I EXPECT BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE HERE...........GOOD LUCK

SportsReal Madrid And Atletico Madrid Banned From Making Signings In Next Two Transfer by goalisma(op): 2:33pm On Jan 14, 2016
Fifa dishes out the punishment for breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18

FIFA has banned Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid from registering new signings for the next two transfer windows for breaching its rules on the international transfer and registration of players aged under 18.
The ban does not affect the current registration period and does not prevent players leaving either club, but means that after this month's transfer window closes neither Real or Atletico will be able to register any new players until the summer of 2017.

Atletico have also been hit with a 900,000 Swiss francs fine (£620,000) while Real have been fined 360,000 Swiss francs (£250,000).
A FIFA statement read: "The two clubs were found to have violated several provisions concerning the international transfer and first registration of minor players as well as other relevant provisions with regard to the registration and participation of certain players in competitions.
"Additionally, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have been fined CHF 900,000 and CHF 360,000 respectively, while both clubs have been issued with a reprimand and given 90 days in which to regularise the situation of all minor players concerned."

SportsLiverpool Vs Arsenal Betting Tips by goalisma(op): 11:44am On Jan 13, 2016
Arsenal are coming into this game with 6 wins out of 7 in the Premier League and are also sitting atop the table with a 2 point lead. They will be aiming to continue to build on this lead when taking on the struggling Liverpool side. Arsenal have been playing well delivering the goods while keeping clean sheets in 3 out of the 6 victories. They have developed a good chemistry of players up front in Giroud, Ozil, Walcott and Ramsey who sit up there. They have been working extremely hard on their offence after a poor time in November. Arsenal will feel they have momentum also on their side with the string of victories compared to the Liverpool side who have been struggling off late.

Liverpool's biggest struggles have been on the defensive end with numerous injuries to their key defenders in Skrtel and Loveren definitely missing while Sakho is doubtful to play. They made an emergency signing in Caulker last night, but he will also struggle to adjust with his team mates after possibly being thrown on the pitch for the first time. Offensively, Liverpool have been horrible losing 2 out of their last 4 games in the league; with their 2 wins coming as a result of narrow 1-0 wins against a struggling Sunderland and a off-colour Leicester City. Benteke, Origi and Sturridge have failed to deliver a consistent goal scoring threat of at least 10 goals that can be proven to be dangerous for the team. Coutinho will also be missing this fixture while Milner has just recovered from injury.

Arsenal will look to exert their dominance in this game especially with Liverpool facing a huge game against Manchester United on the weekend, and I believe that the Gunners should pull away with a victory, but I am taking the draw as insurance.

ARSENAL WIN OR DRAW.........

AS A LIVERPOOL FAN I BELIEVE WE WILL WIN THIS MATCH........
