Entered a Keke (tricycle) this afternoon and the driver was in high spirits, whistling to highlife music. Guys, please I need advice on how to handle my elder brother before my family collapses. His wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Monday. We were all celebrating in the hospital when my brother came out with a straight face and told the doctor to write "GoalRush14" on the birth certificate. My mother almost fainted. When we asked him what kind of name that is, he boldly said the name carries grace because "even if you fail 2 things in life, getting 12 or 13 right still gives you a massive consolation win." Guys, standard funny story but I am still confused. My roommate, Chinedu, woke up around 2:00 AM on Sunday, grabbed his pillow, and started singing national anthems in different accents. When I asked him what was wrong, he said he was doing spiritual research for a 14-match sequence. According to him, predicting 12 or 13 correctly out of 14 is the only reason he hasn't moved out of our self-contain yet. He even opened his laptop screen to show me some setup named GoalRush14, swearing that even if two games mess up his life, 12 out of 14 still counts for something. i told him to go to sleep before his ancestors draft him into Serie A, but he spent the rest of the night arguing with his phone about goal differences. Fast forward to this morning: I caught him sending an inquiry to `goalrushjackpot@gmail.com` asking if he can submit his match picks in Latin so the football gods hear him faster. Please, has anyone else dealt with a roommate whose entire life revolves around tracking 14 matches every weekend? How do you guys survive this kind of roommate? 😂
