Another quick story.

Imagine this senario in a bank on New York's lower East Side.

Our teller friend counted out two tens, but the woman pushed the bills back.

To her, a bank is a place where they put your money in a drawer.

You never really know what's inside people's heads until you dig around or walk a mile in their shoes.

Here's why this is important for you as a blogger.

If you don't understand the people who want to give you money you'll find it difficult to write to them.

Dreams
Frustration
What keeps them up at night
What they really want if you can give them a magic wand and ask them to make a wish.

To write blog post that will convince them that you care about them will be hard.

Caveat Robert once said people don't know how much you know until they know how much you care.

Sounds like rhetoric but it's true people don't care how much you know, Until they know how much you care.

If you can show them how much you really care they'll reward you with tons of Golds.

And you can only show them you care by researching about them.

There are many ways to know what people in a niche cares about.

One is forums like Reddit and quora YouTube Facebook Twitter Pinterest Instagram.

All these are free tools you can use to know exactly what your prospect are searching for.(problems they wish to solve)

If you already know their problems then crafting your homepage about us page will align with their goals.

Guess what.

Something magical happens when they land on your homepage or about us page.

They feel like this guy/gal got me.

They ask is this guy or gal real?

All my fear worries and anxiety this guy says he can solve them.

Maybe he's like me too.

Some will be skeptical… They have seen people who promised them the moon.

Politicians who promised to make everything OK but their promise roll off their tongue like water fall through a duck back.

But they'd want to find out if you're real...maybe this time it'll be different.

Loading in the next lesson we are going to be doing this in real time how to know about your audience.

This is what separates people who write and make money blogging and those who chase rank.

Understanding who you're writing to, and being like one of them is rewarding now and in future.

Ask questions and most important of all share this thread to encourage new bloggers.

To be honest, what you did can be said to be Bait and Switch which is an undesirable practice in the business world. Since you reached out to him first, you should have thought about it deeply before asking him the go ahead.

I understand that priorities change and you have the right to retain your domain, however, you just wasted his efforts, time, and data with nothing in return. And yes, just SORRY is not ideal in this situation since he's doing this for money.

To put this issue to bed, both parties can agree on any of these recommendations:

1. Compensate him monetarily for his time, data, efforts, and emotions invested

2. Gift him another name that's near expiry (his initial request)

3. Make a commitment to offer him a percentage of the profit if the contested domain eventually sell in future

4. Offer him more domains to work on to increase a chance of sale, so you can reward him afterwards

Mahvie, I'd advise you stop sounding like what you did was right, the other party has a right to be aggrieved, especially when an offer came through. Instead, you both should resolve this amicably.

nkeona, I understand how tough things might be with you right now, but rest assured that better days are coming. Find a common ground with the counterparty and move on.

Their leaders in the north are supporters of this distractive protest. Northern Nigeria are too religious. They believed in the religious leaders more than government. If it is announced in the mosque after jumat that the protest is over, you will not see a single person on the road. Just checked the ages of the protesters, they are mostly almajiris.
