I have been following this thread for a long time in the hope of applying for this scholarship to mcgil or U of T come fall this year. It is sad to learn that both universities will be taking last batch of scholars this year.

you can still go for other partner universities...If you are determined..

Guys UBC is demanding me for an official university transcript to be considered for the MCF scholarship because I am from a 11year school system.... The fact is I don't have it at the moment because I haven't joined any university since high school graduation. So help me guys should I deceive them that I am currently doing the certificate?

Courage man. Guys I have just found out that the last year's MCF cohort of scholars at Edinburgh were all Zimbabwean and only one Kenyan gal... Also the statistics from all the other partner universities show that the dominant countries in this program are Ghana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ethiopia and Zambia..... These pipo must be unfair somehow. I thought this program was for sub Saharan Africa but now all the opportunities are being given to specific countries.

They have started giving original certificate of may/june six months after u sit for the exam since 2011 and a month b4 the next nov/DEC waec u sat for the exam,..cos I collected the two certificate around the time I mentioned. If u wnt to collect may/june go to the school u sit for the exam and for nov/DEC go to the nearest waec office of ur center u will collect it same day if u go with two passport ,I think ur waec result or photocard ..but is better u go to the office to ask all the requirements u need and the amount u will pay..cos the price differ ,depends on the years ur certificate have been with them..


For my waec may/june they no collect any money ,maybe because na government lagos public school.

I got mine for 5k here in kaduna.

what do you advise me..to contact the school before going.. or just go with the sum of 5k+..I'm from Anambra and I wrote outside waec in a school at Anam.m
